RAIPUR: Over 200 people returned to the Sanatan fold at an event held in Champa Nagar, Janjgir-Champa district, Chhattisgarh. The returnees had previously embraced other religions and were welcomed back in Sanatan Dharma at the ‘Virat Hindu Sammelan’ organised by the ‘Dharm Jagran Samanvay’ on January 22.

The event was headed by Akhil Bhartiya Ghar Wapsi Pramukh, Prabal Judev, who, along with others, welcomed over 200 returnees by washing their feet and performing Dharmic rituals. The event was attended by several eminent people, social workers and a large number of locals.

Speaking at the occasion, Prabal Judev stated that this is not merely an occasion but a resolve for the renaissance of Sanatan Dharma, and that the Ghar Wapsi campaign will continue until the last individual of society reunites with the original Sanatani tradition.

He noted that the Yajna of Ghar Wapsi will continue in a more profound manner in the future, keeping the unity of Hindu society, cultural self-respect, and national interest above all.

Over 100 people had also reverted to the Sanatan fold in a similar program organised at Katangpali of Saraipali block in Mahasamund district on January 16.

The program held on the 5th day of the Vedic Shri Ram Katha and Vishva Kalyan Mahayajna, witnessed 105 people hailing from nearly 50 families reuniting with Sanatani traditions, amidst chanting of Vedic Mantras.

The program was attended by a number of revered Sants and people from various social organisations.

Addressing the gathering, Judev had emphasised that the country’s security is paramount and conversion is a real threat to Bharat. He also appealed to the people to come forward to safeguard moral values, traditions, and Sanatan culture. He vowed to take forward the campaign started by his father and former Union Minister, late Dilip Singh Judev.
