KALYANPUR: Sangh is working towards positive transformation in society with the resolve of Panch Parivartan (Five Transformations). Through themes such as social harmony, environmental protection, Swa, civic duties, and family awakening, various programmes are being organised across the country to awaken and organise society, said Ramdatt Chakradhar, Sah Sarkaryavah of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at the grand Hindu Sammelan organised at Agricultural Produce Market Committee premises, Kalyanpur Tiraha, Madhya Pradesh.
The Sah Sarkaryavah stated that after deep contemplation and reflection, Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar founded the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in 1925. His clear conviction was that it was first necessary to awaken self-awareness in a Hindu society that had forgotten its own identity. Until Hindu society becomes organised, value-oriented, and dedicated to the spirit of selfless service, Bharat cannot once again emerge as a Vishwaguru.
He further said that there was a time when people even felt a sense of inferiority in being called Hindu, but today society is accepting its identity with pride. Earlier, Hindu society’s thinking was confined to oneself and one’s family, but a broader social consciousness has now emerged.
Citing the example of the COVID period, he said that during that difficult time, when even relatives and neighbours were often unable to extend support, Sangh swayamsevaks served the needy without concern for their own lives. The swayamsevaks not only performed last rites with due rituals but also undertook the task of informing the deceased’s family members.
Referring to the India–Pakistan and India–China wars, he said that in times of crisis, Sangh swayamsevaks played a significant role. Swayamsevaks even sacrificed their lives while ensuring that ammunition reached the armed forces.
He emphasised that Hindu society should be organised, imbibe values, and develop a strong sense of duty.
Mahamandaleshwar Swami Aniruddhvan Maharaj ji of Dhoomeshwar Dham was the chief guest of the programme.
Amid thousands of attendees, the Ganesh Vandana and Vanvasi dance were the special attractions of the Sammelan. At the beginning of the programme, two grand Kalash Yatras were held at both ends of Pichhore, culminating at the venue.
