Hindu Hate this week – A weekly tracker: 45 cases of violence, conversion and deception against Hindus documented

Between December 15 and 21, 2025, Organiser documented dozens of incidents involving killings, sexual violence, identity deception, and coercive religious pressure targeting Hindus across India and beyond. At a time when many of these cases went unreported or were diluted as “isolated incidents,” the onus lies with Organiser to record, investigate, and bring to light the lived reality of Hindu victims whose stories are too often ignored

At a time when large sections of the global media ecosystem selectively amplifies narratives while overlooking the suffering of Hindu communities, the onus lies squarely with Organiser to document, investigate, and tell the stories that are otherwise pushed to the margins. Across Bharat and beyond, incidents involving the killing, torture, coercion, and systematic targeting of Hindus often fail to receive sustained attention, either diluted through euphemisms or erased under the guise of “isolated crimes.” Organiser steps into this silence with a clear editorial responsibility, to chronicle facts without fear, to name patterns without hesitation, and to place victims, not ideological convenience, at the centre of reportage.

The week from December 15 to December 21, 2025, presents yet another grim reminder of why this responsibility matters. A disturbing series of incidents unfolded across multiple states, exposing an entrenched pattern of identity deception, forced religious conversions, sexual exploitation, and targeted violence against Hindu individuals and communities. These were not sporadic or disconnected events but part of a broader continuum in which vulnerable sections, particularly young women, minors, and socially isolated families, were allegedly trapped through false identities, emotional manipulation, threats, and coercive religious pressure.

Beyond individual cases, these incidents raise profound questions about civilisational security, religious freedom, and the right of Hindus to live without fear in their own homeland. They underline the urgent need for sustained documentation, legal accountability, and an unflinching media gaze that refuses to normalise or obscure violence when the victims are Hindu. The following compilation details the incidents reported between December 15 and December 21, 2025, each case a stark reminder of why telling these unheard stories is not merely journalism, but a moral obligation.

The Case You Should Know

Dipu Chandra Das, a Hindu man, was brutally killed on the night of December 18, 2025, in Bhaluka town of Bangladesh’s Mymensingh district, in what has been reported as a lynching triggered by allegations of blasphemy. According to available accounts, a mob attacked Das following accusations that he had made remarks offensive to religious sentiments, leading to his violent death. The incident once again highlighted the vulnerability of religious minorities in Bangladesh, particularly Hindus, who have repeatedly faced mob violence, intimidation, and targeted attacks over allegations that often spread rapidly through rumours or social media. The killing of Dipu Chandra Das sparked outrage and condemnation, with observers pointing to a disturbing pattern in which allegations of blasphemy are used to justify extrajudicial violence, while accountability for perpetrators remains uncertain at the time of reporting.

On the day of the incident, Abdul allegedly entered the temple and forcibly applied tilak and put garlands on devotees, demanding money from them in return. The week from December 15 to 21, 2025, was marked by multiple incidents targeting Hindus, involving alleged forced religious conversions, identity deception, sexual exploitation, and communal violence. Law enforcement agencies across states were involved in investigations, arrests, and interventions, yet recurring patterns of deception, coercion, and targeted attacks were observed. Social media also played a crucial role in highlighting and tracking crimes, often revealing the manipulation of vulnerable individuals under false pretences.

The overall trend indicates growing challenges in communal harmony, with incidents ranging from individual assaults and harassment to organised conversion activities and religiously motivated violence. Vigilance by local communities, proactive reporting, and timely police interventions were key in mitigating further harm, but the frequency and variety of incidents underscore the need for continued awareness, legal enforcement, and safeguarding of vulnerable populations.
