After his involvement with the banned Islamist terrorist groups Monsur shifted his base from Kerala to Tamilnadu. He spent some time in Tamilnadu and recently returned to his native place Kharupetia in Darrand district of Assam. Based on intelligence input, Assam police were tracking his movements. Terrorist Monsur was actively spreading Jihadi activities through social media back in Assam. He was trying to intoxicated local Muslim youths into his terror network through social media. Police also informed that arrested Monsur was planning several attacks in different parts of Assam. To execute the plan of attacks, arrested Monsur was planning to visit Myanmar for an advance bomb making training in a Rohingya Salvation Army training camp. But before he could leave for Myanmar, he was arrested on November 25 in an operation conducted by Assam police.
