“I have come to Assam for the first time after ‘Operation Sindoor’ by the grace of Maa Kamakhya. Operation Sindoor was a big success, PM Modi said today, addressing a huge public rally in Mongoldoi, Assam. Referring to the Congress party’s objection for conferring Bharat Ratna to Music Maestro Bhupen Hazarika, PM Said,” Congress president said BJP is conferring Bharat Ratna to people who only dance and sing. During 1962 Indo-China war Pandit Nehru bid adieu to the Northeast, pain of that wound was not healed and even the present generation of the Congress party sprinkled salt to it. I was shocked to see the reaction of Congress president Bhupen Da’s Bharat Ratna.”, the PM said.

He further said, “I don’t mind how much you curse me. I am a devotee of Bhagwan Shiva, I drink all the poison. But it gives me pain when Congress insults the true sons of the nation like Dr. Bhupen Hazarika.”

He said, “Today whole India is marching towards a developed nation. Specially for the youth it has become their aim and dream. Taking a jibe at the Congress party, the PM said, in over six decades they built 3 bridges over Brahmaputra and in one decade we have constructed 6 bridges over the mighty river. Congress party for its politics stands with people and systems who are always anti-India. During Congress tenure multiple attacks were done in India and the UPA government was sitting silently. Our brave armed forces attacked the terrorist masterminds across Pakistan but sadly Congress stood with Pakistan instead of our own army. They tried to carry the agenda of the terrorist masterminds. Pakistan’s lies become the Congress party’s agenda. For the Congress party the benefit of their votebank is first priority. They never care about the ‘Desh Hit’.”

He added, “Today the Congress party has become a savior of the illegal infiltrators. When they are in power they inspire infiltration. They want the infiltrators to become permanent citizens of India and the infiltrators will decide the future of the nation. They allow infiltrators to encroach our land, tribal belts, forests and land of institutions of our spirituality.”

Himanta Biswa Sarma government has cleared over one lakh bighas of land from the encroachment of infiltrators. The BJP government will not allow infiltrators to encroach our resources and land. We will not allow anyone to snatch the rights of our youth, farmers and our people. These infiltrators harass our daughters, it can’t be allowed to continue. There is a plan to change the demography of the border areas. It is a matter of concern for national security.

“It is BJP’s mission to safeguard the nation from the infiltrators, the PM said. Without naming Congress leader Rahul Gandhi PM Modi said, “some political leaders have come to the political field with such an agenda, I accept your challenge. Let the people see how much strength you show to safeguard the infiltrators and how we will sacrifice our lives to remove the infiltrators. I am ready for the fight. This nation will not forgive those who have come forward to safeguard the infiltrators,” he said.

Earlier PM Modi laid the foundation stones of development projects worth Rs. 19000 crores which includes a 2.9 kilometers bridge over Brahmaputra connecting Darrang-Guwahati, Darrang Medical College, Guwahati Ring Road. The PM also inaugurated the Rs. 5000 crore first ever Bio-Refinary in Numoligarh. The bio refinery will produce 3 lakh metric tons of bio ethanol every year. The PM also laid the foundation stone of Rs. 7200 crores Polypropylene project.
