At just 15, Krishangi enrolled in a law degree at The Open University (UK), a flexible program that allowed her to balance studies with family life. By 18, she had graduated with First-Class Honours in LLB, becoming the youngest student in the university’s history to achieve the feat.
Not stopping there, she completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and an MSc in Business, Law, and Management, both with distinctions. These academic achievements laid a strong foundation for her career in law, setting her apart from peers much older than her.
Krishangi complemented her studies with two years of qualifying legal experience in Singapore, working at a leading international law firm. Here, she gained exposure to complex cross-border legal cases, research, and client management.
This global experience sharpened her ability to handle diverse legal systems and made her stand out in the highly competitive field of international law.
At the age of 21 years and four months, Krishangi cleared the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), formally becoming a solicitor in England and Wales.
“Studying with flexibility not only gave me academic freedom but also taught me discipline, focus, and organisation. These skills helped me secure a role at an international law firm, where I am now gaining practical experience.”
Her parents, overwhelmed with pride, recalled how her passion for law emerged early when she attended a short legal course at Harvard University as a teenager.
“We encouraged her to give it her best shot, but we couldn’t have anticipated such a remarkable outcome,” said her mother, Indira Meshram.
Now a qualified solicitor, Krishangi is focusing on fintech law, blockchain regulation, AI governance, and cross-border private client services. With experience across India, UAE, Singapore, and now the UK, she hopes to build a legal career with a truly global perspective.
