The images released from a commercial satellite debunked the fake claims made by Pakistan post Operation Sindoor.  Thorough scrutiny of the images reveals the fact that Pakistan Navy warships were shifted away from the naval dockyards of Karachi and were docked at the safe havens at commercial terminals in Karachi and Gwadar.

The images unveil the harsh realities of Pakistan military and Islamabad’s false narratives regarding their victory against India is been destroyed. The satellite pictures of Karachi and Gwadar ports unleash the vulnerability and weakness of Pakistan in the face of India’s befitting reply to the Pahalgam terror attacks. Pakistan warships taking the shield of commercial terminals during critical combat situation is not just humiliating for Islamabad but also a testament to Pakistan’s poor military capabilities.

Pakistan warships docked at Karachi and Gwadar commercial terminals

Few warships of the Pakistan Navy were undocked from Karachi naval sites and were halted in commercial terminals. Few other warships were taken to its western ports in Gwadar which is hardly 100kms from the border of Pakistan’s western neighbour Iran. The satellite images rises apprehension regarding why did the warships of Islamabad sail westwards towards Iran instead of sailing eastwards towards India, while the ongoing conflict was with New Delhi.

Senior Military officials and analysts in India have raised cognizance regarding the weak operational readiness of the Pakistan Navy. During a heightened conflict with India, Pakistan vessels should have been on the frontline on the borders of India as a strong defensive mechanism. However, many of the vessels were either resting in the harbour of Karachi or were sailing towards the Gwadar port, including the zulfiquar-class frigates. This not only exposes the poor military cooperation and readiness of the Pakistani defence forces, but also destroys the fake narratives scripted by Pakistan as seeking victory against India during Operation Sindoor.

Pakistan has previously too exhibited such unethical stunts i.e. taking the aid of civilian aircrafts or other civilian spaces to protect military aircrafts or warships. Islamabad seeks to secure the military at the cost of civilian spaces, properties and most importantly by keeping the life of innocent people at stake.

As per the analysis, by May 10, commercial storages in the Gwadar port were made empty and were docked with military assets which included two Zulfiquar-class frigates, two of Pakistan’s largest Tughril-class frigates. The Pakistan navy’s US-built Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate and two maritime patrol vessels were also parked at the Gwadar port. At the Karachi port, PNS Alamgir, a Babur-class corvette and a Damen offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) was seen, which were just a few meters away from a cargo ship where loading/unloading process were going on. This testifies how Pakistan uses commercial & civilian spaces and assets to protect the military domain.

Indian warships were at the forefront

Unlike Pakistan, India never uses civilian or commercial spaces for military purposes even while hitting the enemy country. During Operation Sindoor, India anchored precision attack targeting only terror infrastructure and military bases both in POJK and deep inside Pakistan. It did not harm either any civilian or civilian assets of the enemy country. Even when Pakistan escalated the conflict on the night of May 8-10, Indian Armed Forces, ensured that every citizen and civilian space of India is protected and did not use civilian assets as a shield. This reflects the ethical military endeavours of India and is a testament to the high-morality exhibited by New Delhi.

During Operation Sindoor, India’s indigenous warship such as INS Vikrant was deployed at the forefront in the Arabian Sea on high-alert and for 360 degree vigilance. This was also a tactical move by India in order to establish strategic deterrence in the sea. Vice Admiral AN Pramod had also told in the media briefing during Operation Sindoor that, “Our forces remained forward deployed in the Arabian Sea in a decisive posture with full readiness and capacity to strike the select targets in sea and on land”.

This mirrors the coordination between the tri-services and the operational readiness of India against enemy atrocities, unlike Islamabad, who disperses the critical warships to safe havens under the aegis of commercial and civilian assets during a peak conflict scenario.
