Tamil Nadu BJP accuses Congress of betraying Bharat, Rahul Gandhi of boosting Pakistan narrative

The Congress party's audacity to question the Army’s heroic operations aligns them with forces antagonistic to Bharat's interests, betraying our soldiers and the grief of bereaved families

Recalling Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s deplorable remarks in Parliament on ‘Operation Sindoor’, the Tamil Nadu BJP said it not only insulted the unparalleled valour of the Indian Army but also ignited grave doubts among citizens about his allegiance to Bharat.

In a statement, TN BJP spokesperson ANS Prasad said, “Fuelled by a vindictive political agenda, his slanderous statements sought to malign PM Modi’s resolute BJP government while shamelessly undermining the sacrifices of our armed forces. Such actions, striking at the heart of India’s sovereignty, are an unforgivable betrayal of the nation’s trust.”

Prasad asked, “Under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, has the Congress party deepened this treachery by casting aspersions that raise a chilling question: are they defenders of India or apologists for Pakistan? The irrefutable evidence—Pakistani identity cards seized from Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists Sulaiman, Afghan, and Jibran, neutralised in Operation Mahadev for their heinous crimes against Indian citizens—lays bare Congress’s duplicity. Their refusal to honour the Army’s triumph while peddling pro-Pakistan narratives is a brazen affront, demanding an immediate and unequivocal apology.”

He added, “In stark contrast, PM Modi’s powerful address in Parliament showcased the triumph of ‘Operation Sindoor’. This meticulously executed operation stands as a testament to Bharat’s unyielding resolve to protect its sovereignty and deliver justice to those who threaten its unity. With unwavering conviction, the Prime Minister exposed the terrorist threat driven by religious fanaticism, reaffirming India’s resolute stance: we neither forget nor forgive those who endanger our nation.”

The TN BJP stated that the Congress-led INDIA alliance, under Rahul Gandhi’s guidance, stands exposed for its relentless campaign to undermine India’s security and tarnish the sacrifices of our brave soldiers. It said, “Congress and I.N.D.I alliance leaders’ baseless doubts about the terrorists’ origins and their covert alignment with Pakistan’s nefarious designs stand in stark contrast to the patriotism that unites every Indian. In the Lok Sabha, the Home Minister dismantled their false narratives with undeniable evidence, including Pakistani identity cards from terrorists who orchestrated heinous attacks in Pahalgam, leaving Congress’s credibility in ruins.”

Prasad said, “Operation Mahadev exemplifies the Indian Army’s precision and courage, delivering justice to victims of terrorism and sending a clear message to the world: India’s resolve is unbreakable. Union Home Minister Amit Shah rightly hailed our forces, whose sacrifices shield the nation from external threats. Yet, Congress and its INDIA alliance persist in their shameful efforts to belittle these heroic deeds, weaving lies to distract the public and erode national unity—echoing their past denials of the 2016 surgical strikes and the 2019 Balakot airstrike.”

The statement listed, “Under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, Congress has repeatedly dishonoured the memory of those who lost loved ones to terrorism, betraying the very citizens they claim to represent. Their feigned concern cannot mask their lack of patriotism or their dangerous flirtation with forces hostile to India. The people of India, seeing through this façade, stand united in gratitude to Prime Minister Modi, whose government has honoured its pledge to safeguard every citizen and uphold the nation’s dignity.”

Prasad said, “The I.N.D.I alliance, reduced to mere puppets of Congress, reveals its anti-national core by endorsing rhetoric that seeks to divide and weaken Bharat. Their audacity to question the Army’s heroic operations aligns them with forces antagonistic to India’s interests, betraying our soldiers and the grief of bereaved families. We, the proud citizens of Bharat, unequivocally condemn Rahul Gandhi, Congress, and the I.N.D.I Alliance for their divisive agenda, which assaults our democratic values and national unity.”

Concluding his statement, Prasad said, “Under PM Modi’s visionary leadership, India stands resolute against terrorism and its sympathisers. Congress and its allies must abandon their malicious narrative, cease their covert support for Pakistan, and answer to the people of India. As we salute our armed forces and celebrate the triumphs of Operations Sindoor and Mahadev, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to a strong, united, and sovereign Bharat.”
