Congress-Christian alliance should stop protecting the unlawful conversion gang: Vishva Hindu Parishad

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has launched a scathing attack on what it terms the "Congress-Christian ecosystem," accusing it of actively shielding an "unlawful conversion gang"

New Delhi:  Vishva Hindu Parishad’s Central Joint General Secretary Dr Surendra Jain has said on July 31 that after yet another case of illegal religious conversion of our tribal brethren came to light in Chhattisgarh, the way the down-to-business Congress-Christian ecosystem has doggedly been defending the two nuns and their accomplice involved in human trafficking and freeing them from the control of law is highly condemnable and worrying!

He said that two nuns were found with three tribal girls of Narayangarh in Chhattisgarh. Due to suspicious activities, local citizens called the police at Durg railway station, and the police caught both the nuns on charges of human trafficking and illegal conversion. These charges have not been made for the first time. Earlier also, the church has been accused of illegal conversion and human trafficking many times. In 2018, news of 280 children vanishing from Nirmal Hriday Ashram in Ranchi came to light.

Many forms of unlawful activities, including illegal religious conversions, have been carried out by the church masquerading as service providers. Whenever they are caught red handed, the church has always accused Hindu organizations of forcibly implicating them, but every time their crimes have been proven. Once, the Home Ministry even investigated their false allegations and found that the allegations against Hindu organizations were false and concocted and the church itself was found involved in the crimes!

Dr Jain said that whenever the church is caught in unlawful activities, the entire anti-Hindu ecosystem stands in their favour. Congress leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Venugopal have stood with them. The limit was crossed when not only did some Congress MPs protest in favour of these accused nuns on the Parliament premises yesterday, but some MPs and politicians from Kerala went to Raipur to pressurize the Chhattisgarh government to release the culprits by standing with these conversion and human trafficking accused.

Instead of saying that the law should be allowed to do its work and if the perpetrators are criminals, they should be punished, the law-makers have been standing to shield the law-breakers.

On the statement of a bishop of the church that nuns and priests should leave their traditional religious uniform and travel in normal civilian clothes, Dr Jain asked why do they want to hide and camouflage their identity? Do they have burglars, crooks and religion-demographic-ambush-designs on their minds? There is sin in their minds that is why they try to hide their real character and intentions from public view! We want to warn them to desist from illegal religious conversion activities and other types of activities that are against law and order and the constitution under the pretexts and guise of service. You have the liberty to follow your religion, but not undertake illegal activities!

They should go to the church, who stops them? Why do they insist on going to Hindu settlements for religious conversions! Why do they convert in the guise of service! I want to warn them that if they have the guts to convert in Muslim areas and settlements, then the consequences would be decidedly and vastly evident for the whole world to see. Hindus are liberal but this does not mean that they will allow people of their society to be converted illegally and allow such sinful acts to happen with their girls and women!
