Rahul Gandhi’s aide Sachin Rao in WhatsApp Group that ‘Orchestrated’ Delhi anti-Hindu riots; Congress’ role exposed

Rahul Gandhi’s close aide, Sachin Rao, was a member of the DPSG WhatsApp group that orchestrated the 2020 Delhi anti-Hindu riots, exposing Congress’ direct involvement in the violence. Evidence reveals the party’s deep-rooted role in inciting unrest under the guise of protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act

New revelations have once again exposed the Congress party’s deep-rooted involvement in anti-Hindu violence, with Rahul Gandhi’s close aide, Sachin Rao, being found as a member of the infamous DPSG WhatsApp group that orchestrated the Delhi anti-Hindu riots of 2020. The Congress party’s complicity in the bloodshed is no longer just a matter of speculation but a well-documented fact backed by evidence and investigative reports.

The Delhi riots of February 2020 were not spontaneous but the culmination of a meticulously planned and executed conspiracy that was in motion since December 2019. The conspiracy, hatched under the pretext of opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), saw direct involvement from various Congress-linked functionaries, radical left-wing activists, and Islamist elements.

On March 11, 2024, Congress leader Digvijay Singh shamelessly defended Umar Khalid, a key accused under UAPA in the Delhi anti-Hindu riots case, calling him innocent and falsely alleging that he was being targeted by the government. Sharing a stage with Umar Khalid’s father, SQR Ilyasi, a former member of the banned terrorist organization SIMI, Digvijay Singh continued his pattern of defending individuals with extremist links. Singh’s track record includes pushing the debunked “Hindu terror” theory, further exposing Congress’ long-standing anti-Hindu stance.

Congress’ ‘Aar-Paar Ki Ladai’

Sonia Gandhi’s speech on December 14, 2019, during the Bharat Bachao Rally at Ramlila Maidan, called for an all-out war against the Modi government. Her inciteful rhetoric urged Congress workers to take to the streets, warning them to be ready for ‘qurbani’ (sacrifice). This speech was later cited by riot victims as one of the triggers behind the brutal violence that ensued in Delhi.

Investigations into the riots have revealed the role of NSUI (Congress’ student wing) functionaries who actively incited violence across university campuses through WhatsApp groups. These groups orchestrated mass protests, advocated ‘Chakka Jam,’ and strategized the use of women as human shields to avoid police action—tactics that were later evident in Shaheen Bagh and other riot hotspots.

DPSG WhatsApp group

The DPSG (Delhi Protests Support Group) WhatsApp group was created on December 27, 2019, following a crucial meeting at ISI, Lodhi Colony on December 26, 2019. This meeting, attended by notorious figures such as Harsh Mandar, Yogendra Yadav, Umar Khalid, Nadeem Khan, Khalid Saifi, Saba Dewan, and others, laid the groundwork for the riots. Key decisions made included:

  • Organising Chakka Jam protests
  • Strategising riot epicenters in Muslim-dominated areas
  • Deploying women on the frontlines to deter police action
  • Coordinating funds and legal support for arrested conspirators

Khalid Saifi posted the minutes of this meeting in the DPSG WhatsApp group the next day, marking the beginning of coordinated violence.

Rahul Gandhi’s aide in the DPSG Group

A deeper investigation into the DPSG group’s members led to a shocking revelation: Rahul Gandhi’s close aide, Sachin Rao, was an active member of the group from December 29, 2019, until March 12, 2020. His prolonged presence in the group, despite the group’s clear role in inciting violence, raises critical questions:

Was Sachin Rao merely an observer, or was he an active participant in planning the riots? Was he Rahul Gandhi’s representative, keeping a close eye on the group’s activities and ensuring Congress’ involvement remained discreet? If Sachin Rao was present in a purely personal capacity, does it indicate that Rahul Gandhi’s inner circle was filled with individuals deeply entrenched in anti-Hindu conspiracies?

Given the DPSG group’s role in orchestrating violence, it is inconceivable that any member, let alone a high-ranking Congress functionary, was unaware of the group’s agenda. The presence of a close aide of Rahul Gandhi points to either active complicity or Congress’ silent endorsement of the carnage that followed.

This is not the first time Congress has been found sheltering radicals and fueling communal discord. The party has a long history of supporting anti-Hindu narratives:

  • Digvijay Singh’s book “26/11 – RSS ki Saazish,” which attempted to exonerate Pakistan’s role in the Mumbai terror attacks.
  • Congress leaders defending SIMI, despite its proven terror links.
  • Actively propagating the baseless “Hindu terror” theory while shielding actual Islamist terrorists.

The party’s covert support for the Shaheen Bagh protests, which served as the launchpad for the anti-Hindu riots. The exposure of Sachin Rao’s involvement in the DPSG group is a damning indictment of Congress’ direct role in the 2020 anti-Hindu riots.
