Lucknow:  The scientific community is in awe as the sacred waters of Triveni Sangam remain crystal clear, sparking widespread discussion not just in India but across the world, including the United States. Researchers and scientists are deeply engaged in analysing the purity and unique properties of the Ganga water.

Academia, a leading global research organisation that publishes millions of scientific papers and journals, has also shown keen interest in unraveling the mysteries of Ganga Jal.

Padma Shri awardee scientist Dr Ajay Sonkar, who has scientifically proven that the water of the Ganges is purer than even alkaline water, is now receiving inquiries from across the globe. Devotees from Hyderabad, Andaman, Tamil Nadu, the United States, Italy, Canada, and Switzerland, among other countries, took the holy water with them after participating in the grand Mahakumbh.

According to Dr Sonkar, videos showcasing the purity of Ganga water have gone viral on YouTube, drawing global attention to the phenomenon. Even Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s management of the event has become a topic of international discussion.

People are astonished that over 66 crore devotees could bathe in the Sangam without any inconvenience. Moreover, the scale of the event—organized by a single state government—has left many experts worldwide intrigued.

Scientific researchers worldwide are now reaching out to Dr Sonkar to understand the scientific basis behind the Ganges’ unique properties. His research has revealed that Ganga water contains 1,100 types of bacteriophages, which naturally eliminate harmful bacteria. This discovery has piqued the interest of global scientists and researchers, with a surge in email and social media inquiries seeking further insights.

The phenomenon has gained immense traction on YouTube and other social media platforms, where videos related to Ganga water are rapidly gaining popularity. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s efforts towards Ganga conservation and rejuvenation are now being discussed far beyond India’s borders.

Dr Sonkar confirmed that prominent global researchers continuously seek new information about Ganga water’s remarkable properties, and efforts are being made to provide them with the necessary data. The crystal-clear transparency of the water has left people worldwide mesmerized. Many international visitors have expressed their desire to keep Ganga water in their homes as a symbol of purity and prestige.

The fascination with Ganga water is not just spiritual but has now become a cultural and scientific legacy. People are proudly storing it in containers and sharing images of it on social media. Beyond its religious importance, Ganga water is now considered a heritage asset that people across the world cherish and revere.
