Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath government is preparing to showcase Uttar Pradesh’s tourism potential on the global stage at the PATA 2025 (Pacific Asia Travel Association) event which is scheduled to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from August 26 to 28, 2025. The aim is to highlight the UP’s prominent tourist spots, investment prospects, and vibrant cultural legacy through impactful global branding.

PATA 2025 is a renowned global event in the travel and tourism industry, drawing the participation of international investors, travel agencies, key stakeholders, and media representatives. Uttar Pradesh is planning an impressive presence to highlight its diverse tourism offerings. Through roadshows, high-tea sessions, seminars, and workshops, the state government will promote various tourism circuits and investment opportunities in hospitality and infrastructure.

One of the major attractions will be an Augmented Reality (AR) based digital touch panel featuring six of the most beautiful tourist destinations of Uttar Pradesh, allowing visitors to take interactive selfies and explore virtual experiences. This tech-savvy approach aims to leave a lasting impression on international visitors and promote UP as a must-visit destination.

Comprehensive Exhibition of Tourist Attractions

At the PATA 2025 event, the Uttar Pradesh tourism department will install a 36-square-meter pavilion to showcase the state’s rich cultural, religious, and historical treasures. Highlights will include prominent sites from the Buddhist Circuit, Sarnath, Kushinagar, and Shravasti as well as renowned locations like Varanasi, Ayodhya, and the Prayagraj Mahakumbh. The pavilion will feature cutting-edge elements such as LED video walls and self-guided digital visuals to present scenic destinations in an engaging format.

In addition to tourism, the event will also spotlight One District One Product (ODOP) items, showcasing the craftsmanship and unique products from different districts. Special events will be held to present the architectural beauty and spiritual significance of UP’s famous temples, promoting religious and heritage tourism.

In addition to the PATA 2025 event, the Uttar Pradesh government will organize a one-day international roadshow in Bangkok, targeting over 100 important attendees such as travel industry experts, media representatives, and influencers. The event will offer valuable networking opportunities and showcase UP’s tourism potential. To boost international visibility, 30-second tourism commercials will be broadcast during prime hours across major Thai TV and radio stations for three days. Moreover, digital advertisements will be displayed 15 times a day across ten key locations in Bangkok. Guests visiting the Uttar Pradesh pavilion can expect warm hospitality, refreshments, and access to detailed promotional materials like brochures, maps, and press kits.

This initiative reflects the Uttar Pradesh government’s larger goal of establishing ‘Brand UP’ and promoting the state as a top-choice tourist destination globally and within India. As part of a comprehensive roadmap, the state plans to exhibit its tourism strengths at major global travel exhibitions like ITB Asia in Singapore, IFTM Top Resa in Paris, and WTM in London. The strategy also includes international roadshows, marketing campaigns, and partnerships with Indian embassies to boost Uttar Pradesh’s presence in the global tourism market.

With this global exposure, the UP government aims to attract foreign tourists and investors, boosting the state’s economy and creating employment opportunities. The government is working tirelessly to ensure grand participation in the event, reflecting Uttar Pradesh’s rising image as a vibrant and culturally rich travel destination.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is actively working to establish Uttar Pradesh as a leading tourist destination worldwide. From spiritual places like Ayodhya and Kashi to modern tourist spots, he wants the world to see the rich culture and beauty of Uttar Pradesh. Thus, by taking part in big international events like PATA 2025 and holding roadshows and campaigns abroad, the government is working hard to bring in more tourists and investors. Yogi’s goal is to make Uttar Pradesh known around the world for its tourism, culture, and growth.
