The Sants of various regions, languages and sects have detailed discussions on various issues concerning the Hindu society, in the Mahakumbh Camp of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Prayagraj. In its first day of three-day long deliberations, on 25th Jan’25, they reached to a conclusion that:
1. The temple should be freed from government controls and the management of the same be handed over to the Hindu society.
2. The main reason for demographic imbalance in the country is decline in TFR of Hindus. They appealed the society that every Hindu family must follow at least three children norm.
3. They applauded the government initiative to control the uncontrolled Wakf Board and limit its unlimited rights. It appeals all MPs and the political parties to cooperate in passing of such important amendments in the parliament.
4. The meet reiterated the commitment of Hindu society made in 1994 on the banks of maa Saryu in Ayodhya that the Ayodhya, Mathura and Kashi will be free from all clutches and the society is committed to get them back. The Saints, Hindu society and the VHP along with RSS will remain committed to them.
Apart from the aforesaid commitments made in the Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal (KMDM) meet of VHP, they were of the opinion that for upliftment of the country, the social equality, protection of culture, environment and the Hindu family system is the necessity of the hour. They said that citizens must remain committed to their national and religious duties.
Prominent among those whose guidance was received in the KMDM meet were Jagatguru Shankaracharya Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Avdheshanand Giri Ji, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Vishokanand Ji, Mahamandaleshwar Vishwatmanand Bharti Ji, Mahamandaleshwar Balakanand Ji, Swami Chidanand Muni Ji, Swami Rajendra Devacharya Ji, Swami Kaushalyanand Giri Ji, Swami Ashvileshwaranand Ji, Swami Hariharanand Ji, Shri Mahant Nirmohi Akhara Rajendra Das Ji, Venerable Mahant Ravindra Puri Ji Mahanirvani, Venerable Mahamandaleshwar Choodamani Ji Bhopal, Venerable Mahamandaleshwar Jitendranand Ji, General Secretary, Sant Samiti, Venerable Paramatmanand Ji, General Secretary Acharya Sabha, Venerable Uday Singh Ji Maharaj from Namdhari, Venerable Balyogi Umeshnath Ji Maharaj, Mahamandaleshwar Venerable Atmanand Ji Nepal, Venerable Sangram Singh Ji, Andhra Pradesh, Venerable Kevalanand Ji Saraswati, Andhra Pradesh, Venerable Bhaskar Giri Ji, Devgarh, Venerable Babu Singh Ji, Banjara community etc.
On the day 2 & 3 i.e. on January 25 & 26, a Virat Sant Sammelan was organised at the same venue wherein the Message of unity of Hindu society was delivered. Thousands of religious leaders, guides from all religions, sects, and communities from every corner of the country were present. The program began with the lighting of lamps. At the time of lighting the lamps, Pujya Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji, Ling Rinpoche, Pujya Bhaskar Giri Ji, Pujya Swami Janardan Ji, Pujya Maitreya Ji, Pujya Paramananda Giri Ji etc. were present. The program was presided over by Pujya Jagatguru Shankaracharya Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji.
Apart from the issues raised in the KMDM meet, the continuous planned oppression of Hindus in Bangladesh was discussed. In Bharat too, some elements are threatening Hindus to create a situation like Bangladesh. Hindus in the country should think deeply on this subject. The Central Government is bringing a law reform act to limit the autocratic and unlimited rights of the Waqf Board. There should be cooperation of MPs of all parties on this. Many topics like social harmony, environmental protection also discussed in the meeting. Prabhakar Das Ji Maharaj of Odisha in his address stressed on the unity of Hindu society, while Yogi Umesh Nath Ji Maharaj from Valmiki society in his address spoke about the decreasing population in Hindu society and requested that Hindu society should increase its population. Goraksha Peethadheeshwar, Chief Minister Mahant Yogi Adityanath Ji, who was present in the program, said that the Sanatan tradition of India is visible in this Maha Kumbh city which the whole world is seeing. This message should be divine for the whole country, for which the efforts of Vishva Hindu Parishad are incomparable. The whole world is seeing the result of this effort today through this huge Sant Sammelan, where religious leaders of all religions and sects are seated together on one platform. After 1980, Vishva Hindu Parishad has taken all its many resolutions on this holy land, on the holy banks of Maa Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati, which we can see in tangible form today. We remember revered Ashok Singhal Ji, who is not physically present among us today, but his soul must be elated to see this.
The dream that Sanatan Dharma was waiting for 500 years is that Bhagwan Ram Lalla is seated in a divine and grand form at the birthplace of Lord Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram. Where two lakh people used to visit in the year 2016, 15 crore people have visited in the year 2024. A grand and divine form of a new Ayodhya, a new Kashi is visible. The vision of Kumbh, the vision of uninterrupted Ganga is being seen. He also said that if Sanatan remains, then religion will remain, worship will remain and saints will remain. Only then the monasteries and temples will also remain safe. This is the century of Bharat. Sants have to decide the direction and condition of the country. He took the name of Pujya Ashok Singhal ji many times and while considering the topics like deciding many strategies by him with the Pujya saints on this holy land, he said that even in normal days, Singhal ji used to be engaged in efforts to unite the saints not only of the country but of the world. While meditating on this, he said that today he paid humble tribute to Ashok Singhal ji, Avaidyanath ji, Paramhans Das ji. Along with this, he also said in a subtle way that saints should work with patience and be cautious of divisive forces. After Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, now the dream of Mathura and Kashi is going to come true. Pujya Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji, who was presiding over the program, said in his blessings that this is the same holy land where many decisions regarding Hindu society have been taken by the revered saints on the holy banks of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati.
On this platform, religious leaders of all sects are sitting together and giving the message of unity of Sanatan to the whole world. Maharaj Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Ji, Swami Vasudevacharya Ji, Maharaj Yugpurush Swami Paramananda Giri Ji, revered Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Balakanand Giri Ji, Maharaj revered Bhaskar Kishan Giri Ji, Sagadhikara Janardan Dev Goswami Ji, Pu. Bhante Ringpoche Ji, Jain Sadhvi Deepti Ji, revered Swami Vivekananda Ji, along with Vishwa Hindu Parishad Central President Alok Ji, Central General Secretary Organisation Milind Parande Ji, Central General Secretary Co-Organisation Vinayak Rao Deshpande Ji, Central Joint General Secretary Koteshwar Sharma Ji, revered Swami Chudamani Chaturbhujacharya Ji from Nepal were present in the program. Prabhakar Das Ji, Buddhists from Sri Lanka, Korea, Burma and Tibet, Saints, Lamas, Pujya Ravidas Birth Place Mahant Dr. Bharat Bhushan Das Ji, Jatthedar Harjot Singh Ji, Nihang Bhanpura Shankaracharya Gyananand Tirth Ji, Founder of Vishwa Jagriti Mission Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj, Jiten Nath Ji from Nath Sect, General Secretary of Saint Committee Swami Jitendrananda Saraswati Ji, Chit Maharaj from Tripura, Deeper- Acharya Swami Babruvahan Ji Maharaj from the Guru tradition expressed his views. In the second half of January 25 and 26, a Sadhvi Sammellan and a Yuva Sant Sammelan was also held wherein the young saints have deliberations relating the youths and their attraction towards the Hindu religious values. They called upon the youths to come forwards to save the country and Dharma from the persistent attacks on the Hindu society and the country by the anti-Hindu & anti-national forces. They also said the young generation has to take additional responsibility as the cultural ambassador of the society.
