As the country witnesses positive and constructive changes over the last 10 years, which have imparted self-confidence to all Bharatiyas, divisive and anti-Bharat forces are attacking the traditions and heritage of the nation to undermine this growing enthusiasm. This is because they realize that they are losing their relevance, said R. Sanjayan, Director of the Bharatiya Vichara Kendram (BVK), Kerala Chapter of Prajna Pravah, during an event in Tirur, Malappuram district.
He was speaking while inaugurating the state conference of Bharatiya Vichara Kendram. “Several forces are actively working to divide the country. The existence of Bharat is rooted in Sanatana Dharma, its ideals, and ideologies. This is the path to victory,” he stated. Sanjayan emphasized the need to face the challenges posed by anti-national activities with utmost responsibility and called upon the people of Bharat to strengthen their willpower in this regard.
The conference passed a resolution addressing the controversial remarks made by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The resolution referred to the Chief Minister’s statement that Sreenarayana Guru was neither the spokesman nor the proponent of Sanatana Dharma, and that Sanatana Dharma represents casteism and Chaturvarnya.
The resolution clarified that Sanatana Dharma is not a religion but a tradition encompassing various various upasana and systems. It described Sanatana Dharma as a lifestyle and attributed its misinterpretation as a theocratic society to ignorance.

The resolution further condemned the statements of individuals in high positions who insult the traditions followed by the majority of people, deeming such remarks unacceptable and deplorable. Bharatiya Vichara Kendram called on the Chief Minister to correct his stance and issue an apology to the people.
The event was chaired by state president Dr. C.V. Jayamoni, while General Secretary Dr. K.C. Sudheerbabu presented the report. Other notable speakers included RSS Dakshin Kerala Pranth Pracharak S. Sudarshan, Prajna Pravah Dakshin Kshetra Samyojak S. Vishwanath, Dr. S. Umadevi, Sreedharan Puthumana, C.K. Sunil, and J. Mahadevan.
