As India approaches its 100th year of independence in 2047, the vision of a developed and self-reliant nation is becoming a focal point for citizens across the country. In light of this monumental milestone, Udaan Youth Club (UYC) has launched an Article Writing Contest titled “Hum Bharat Ke Yuva” (We the Youth of India), inviting Indian citizens to share their insights on how the nation’s youth can actively contribute to India’s development and its vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047.

The contest, aimed at celebrating National Youth Day 2025, calls for young individuals and citizens of all age groups, backgrounds, and professions to participate and share their thoughts on how India’s youth can be the driving force behind the nation’s progress. With the core theme revolving around youth empowerment, innovation, and social responsibility, the initiative seeks to highlight the significant role the younger generation plays in transforming India into a global leader in the coming decades.

The primary objective of this Article Writing Contest is to spark a national conversation on how Indian youth can influence the nation’s trajectory toward becoming a developed nation by 2047. As the country celebrates its centenary of independence, UYC believes that the youth hold the key to realising this vision. The contest aims to encourage participants to reflect on how the youth can harness their creativity, energy, and innovative thinking to address pressing challenges and shape India’s future.

“We want to bring the youth into the conversation and make them realise that they are not just the leaders of tomorrow but the changemakers of today. This contest is an opportunity for them to articulate their ideas and solutions for India’s growth, both on a local and global scale,” said Aman Kumar, President of Udaan Youth Club.

Participants in the contest will have a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping India’s future by sharing their thoughts and ideas on a national platform. The outstanding articles will be featured on Udaan Youth Club’s official website and social media platforms. Additionally, exceptional submissions will be recognised with a Certificate of Participation, and selected entries will be showcased in the Hum Bharat Ke Yuva campaign report.

This initiative not only offers participants a chance to be part of a transformative national conversation but also empowers them to express how youth can contribute to the realisation of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
