On November 13, a threat to blow up the Allahabad High Court was received from Pakistan. The threats were sent in the form of 22 audio recordings to Asutosh Pandey, a petitioner in the Krishna Janmabhoomi case and the president of the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Nirman Trust, based in Mathura.
Pandey stated that the audio messages, sent via WhatsApp, originated from two numbers based in Pakistan. He received the messages at 9:36 pm on November 13. Upon listening to the recordings, he heard threats about bombing the Allahabad High Court.
In addition to the bomb threat, the messages contained abusive language and directed threats towards Pandey as well. The caller warned that the Allahabad High Court would be bombed on November 19, and that Pandey himself would be targeted the following day, November 20. Pandey has submitted the 22 audio clips, ranging from 3 to 12 seconds each, to the police for further investigation. He also received calls from the same Pakistani numbers containing similar threats. Ashutosh Pandey, a resident of Kandhla in Shamli, submitted the threatening messages to the Shamli Police and also emailed them to senior officials. He mentioned that he had received similar threats in the past, which led to cases being registered in Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, and Mathura.
Ashutosh Pandey is one of the 18 petitioners advocating for the release of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi from the control of the Shahi Eidgah mosque. He had also raised concerns about illegal electricity connections in the mosque, prompting authorities to take action against the mosque committee officials.
