“The whole world is looking towards Bharat, from the western point of view whatever development has taken place till now has been incomplete, in fact, the concept of religion and politics was made a business, later after the advent of the scientific age, it also became a trade of arms and then two world wars took place, from this point of view there was no happiness and prosperity but more destruction, the whole world got divided into two ideologies, atheist and theist and later on it also became a subject of conflict, in which those who are strong will live and the weak will die”, said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarasanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat while speaking on ‘Relevance of Hindutva for World Welfare in the Present Times’, at an event of Yog Mani Vandniya Late Dr Urmila Tai Jamdar Smriti Prasanga under the aegis of Yog Mani Trust Jabalpur.
“The idea of power of groups also came to the fore and along with it the conflict started. Resources became unlimited but the way was not found. That is why the world is looking towards Bharat with hope for spiritual peace today”, Dr Bhagwat said.
He first clarified that the world needs welfare. If yes, who has the greatest global duty towards it, and from whom is the world expecting solutions today?
Dr Bhagwat further said, “today the world is resource-rich, there is unlimited knowledge but it does not have the necessary path of welfare for humanity. Bharat is prosperous in this respect. But in the current context, Bharat has forgotten its knowledge. There are many reasons for this, one of which is the availability of comforts and a peaceful life, but we have to remember what we have been, so we have to come out of the abyss of forgetfulness”.
“Both ignorance and education (Gyan) are important in Bhartiya philosophy of life, a co-relation of both is necessary to maintain balance in material and spiritual life. This has been accepted in Hindu Dharma, that is why Hindu Dharma walks through the path of both ignorance and education, that is why there are no extremists and fanatics here, whereas in the concept of the West, extremism and fanaticism are seen because they fear the loss of their selfishness, due to which their vision is incomplete”, Dr Bhagwat said.
He further said there is only one truth behind the creation, and its starting point is also one. “Human religion is Sanatan Dharma and Sanatan Dharma is Hindu religion. Which sees all the subjects in a unified form. It gives the universal message of unity in diversity”.
“The word Hindu was prevalent in the minds of people since a long time, later it was also mentioned in the scriptures, but Guru Nanak Dev ji used it for the first time as the voice of the people. The concept of Dharma here is truth, compassion, purity and penance, so this religious (Dharma) philosophy has to be given to the world for welfare. This is the soul of Hindu Dharma. Living together with diversity is Hindu Dharma”, he said.
On this occasion, Prant Sanghchalak Dr Pradeep Dubey, President of Yogmani Trust Dr Jitendra Jamdar, Akhil Bhartiya Sah-Boudhik Pramukh Deepak Vispute, Madhya Kshetra Pracharak, Swapnil Kulkarni, Madhya Kshetra Sah- Pracharak Premshankar Sidar, Mahakoushal Prant Pracharak Brajkant, Minister of Madhya Pradesh Government Prahlad Patel, Rakesh Singh and many other eminent personalities were also present at the event.
