The much-anticipated premiere of Sudarshan Chakra Part 2, a cinematic tribute to Jain muni Pujya Sudarshan Lal Maharaj, drew an enthusiastic response from the audience and special dignitaries alike at The Royal Plaza Hotel today. Attendees were captivated by the film’s portrayal of the revered munis life, teachings, and philosophy. Highlighting the event, Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramuk of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), shared heartfelt words in remembrance of the muni’s remarkable contributions to society.

Addressing the press at the premiere, Sunil Ambekar emphasised the significant role that Pujya Sudarshan Lal  Maharaj played in fostering unity and social harmony through his teachings. “Pujya Sudarshan Maharaj was a unique and prodigious muni, who provided invaluable teachings to unite society,” he stated. He further pointed out how the muni’s message holds particular relevance today, as modern society faces challenges like family fragmentation. “He presented effective and simple formulas for maintaining family unity, which this film beautifully encapsulates. Every person can learn the art of living from this film, making it a must-watch for everyone.”

The film aims to preserve and disseminate Pujya Sudarshan Maharaj’s teachings, offering audiences insights into his approach to family harmony, respect for elders, and affection for younger generations. His guidance continues to inspire people to lead fulfilled, purpose-driven lives, a theme resonating strongly in Sudarshan Chakra Part 2.

Dr. Surendra Jain, Central Joint General Secretary of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), also addressed the gathering, sharing reflections on Pujya Sudarshan Lal Maharaj’s life and philosophy. Dr. Jain highlighted the muni’s remarkable humility, noting that, despite his impactful teachings, he never sought personal publicity.

“Throughout his life, Pujya Sudarshan Lal Maharaj stayed away from fame. Yet, due to his profound messages, discourses, and relentless penance, he was recognised as one of Bharat’s most influential munis,” he said. Revered by Jains and non-Jains alike, he stood as a symbol of Bharat’s composite culture and heritage, embodying values that transcend religious boundaries.

A staunch advocate for women’s empowerment, Pujya Sudarshan Lal Maharaj continuously promoted equality and dignity for women. He also contributed significantly to curbing societal issues such as addiction; in his lifetime, he walked over 25,000 kilometers across the country, offering guidance to millions and inspiring them to overcome addiction.

Dr. Jain extended warm congratulations to the film’s director, Anil Kulchenia, as well as to the actors and production team, for their dedication in authentically portraying the life of Pujya Sudarshan Lal Maharaj. He noted how the realistic and sensitive approach in depicting the muni’s journey had added to the film’s appeal and impact. Vivek Anand, the actor who portrayed Pujya Sudarshan Maharaj, was also recognised for his inspiring performance, which brought a spiritual depth to the role.

The press conference was skillfully moderated by Professor Ravindra Jain, who guided discussions and introduced the key contributors to the film. Kapil Khanna, Amit Jain, Kamal Jain, and several others were present to honor the visionaries who brought this significant film to life.

Anil and Vivek Anand later shared with the media some of the transformative, divine experiences they encountered during the making of the film. They expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work on a project with such profound spiritual significance and noted the impact it had on their own lives. These personal accounts provided further depth to the event, enhancing the emotional connection between the audience and the film.

The premiere concluded with overwhelmingly positive feedback from the audience, which included several distinguished guests such as Sarvashri Naresh Jain, Suresh Jain, Shanti Kumar Jain, Surendra Jain, Ravindra Jain, and Pramod Jain. All attendees expressed their appreciation for the film’s quality and the respect it paid to Pujya Sudarshan Lal Maharaj’s legacy.
