The journey of ScaNxt was anything but smooth. When we first set out, the agricultural sector faced a growing need for innovation, but farmers, especially smallholders, were wary of adopting technology. Building trust and developing affordable, scalable solutions that catered to the grassroots level posed significant challenges. However, with a deep commitment to addressing these issues, our team worked tirelessly to refine our IoT, AI/ML, and sensor-based solutions to fit the specific needs of farmers in Bharat. The agriculture technology landscape has evolved immensely, with a rising demand for climate-smart solutions. This shift allowed us to position ScaNxt as a market leader in soil testing, pest detection and crop advisory solutions. Investment in research and development has been a cornerstone of our growth, attracting attention from organisations like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Export and Sales of Products
Our expansion into international markets was a natural progression. Today, ScaNxt operates in 21 Indian States, and we have established our presence in countries like Thailand, Cameroon and Gambia. We are in advanced talks to begin operations in Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Malaysia. Our Bhu-Parikshak soil testing device, AI-powered pest detection system and other products have garnered attention globally, and we are proud to support farmers in various regions with innovative, real-time agricultural solutions.
Future Plans
Looking ahead, we plan to file three to five patents over the next few months and aim to launch new products within the next six to 18 months. These innovations will further solidify ScaNxt’s position as a leading player in the agtech space, focusing on next-generation soil testing, pest advisory and precision farming tools. As we expand, our goal is to enhance the sustainability and profitability of farming across the globe.
