Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine, offers a holistic approach to enhancing immunity through natural herbs and lifestyle practices. In Ayurveda, immunity, or “Ojas,” is considered the essence of health. It is believed that a robust Ojas leads to physical strength, mental clarity, and emotional well-being. Ginger -Ginger is a potent herb known for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects. It aids digestion, reduces nausea, and boosts overall immunity. Drinking ginger tea or incorporating fresh ginger into your meals can help keep colds and infections at bay.

Giloy- Often referred to as “Amrita,” or the nectar of immortality, Giloy is known for its immune-boosting properties. It helps detoxify the body, improves digestion, and enhances the body’s defense mechanisms. Consuming Giloy juice or capsules can significantly improve immunity.

Amla –Amla, or Indian gooseberry, is one of the richest sources of vitamin C and antioxidants. It strengthens the immune system, promotes healthy skin, and supports digestive health. Regular intake of Amla, whether as a juice or in powder form, can rejuvenate your immune system.

Lifestyle tips to enhance immunity

In addition to incorporating these herbs, consider the following Ayurvedic lifestyle practices to further support your immune health:

Balanced Diet: Focus on a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats. Include foods that are seasonal and locally sourced.
