PV Anvar MLA, CPM leader and blue-eyed boy of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has unleashed serious allegations against Additional Director General of Police M.R. Ajitkumar IPS, P Sasi, Political Secretary of the Chief Minister and Pathanamthitta District Police Chief Sujijt Das.
Anvar has revealed a lengthy list of allegations against ADGP Ajitkumar. He says, he behaves like worst sort of criminal and operates like Davood Ibrahim.
Allegations raised against ADGP can be boiled down as follows:
- Snooping the phones of the important personalities including the ministers and media persons.
- Involved in gold smuggling and murder
- Enjoys the support of the chief minister’s office (CMO)
- Behaves like a worst criminal and international underworld don Davood Ibrahim. Looks like, Davood is Ajitkumar’s role model. Those who study the biographies of people like Davood, will be attracted to them. Only such people can behave like this
- Unholy alliance between ADGP and chief minister’s Political Secretary P. Sasi.
- Ajithkumar has appointed an assistant in cyber cell. It is for snooping the phones of all ministers and politicians.
- The nexus between the Customs Department and Pathanamthitta District Police Chief Sujith Das is being used for gold smuggling through Karippoor Airport, Kozhikode.
Anvar further alleged that a section of the Kerala Police force linked with Ajit Kumar does not understand what chief minister says and they operate as a group to eliminate the (CPM) party and the CPM-led government. But, when he said this in the assembly, the police maintained that it is a baseless allegation. He said that Sujith Das worked for Customs Department before taking over as an IPS officer. He said that he has got the record of the phone conversation of Ajit Kumar’s wife. Even though she was speaking to her brother’s phone, someone else was at the other end. While talking about the arranged murder, he said that Mami, a merchant in Kozhikode, has been missing since the last one year. Anvar explained to the media how Sujit Das and Ajit Kumar allegedly manage the gold smuggling through Karippoor Airport, Kozhikode.
Anva’s allegations have frightened the state. He has indirectly attacked the chief minister by attacking his political secretary. The allegation is significant as the entire development-administrative activities are in a blind alley. Government employees are enveloped with acute anxiety regarding the regular salaries they are entitled to get. Anvar alleges that the top cop leads the gold smuggling and the those who try to block it are killed. Ajitkumar and P. Sasi are known to be ‘comrades-in-arms’. Anvar is a well-known follower of Pinarayi. He has even stated that Pinarayi is like father for him. In another words, both the alleger and the alleged are Pinarayi’s men ! So, people are totally confused. Anvar said, Sasi is a failure hence Ajitkumar can operate like this.
Malayalam TV channels carried a news item that ADGP Ajit Kumar is constructing a mansion-like house in Kowdiar, Thiruvananthauram, near the palace of Thiruvitamcoor kingdom. According to Anvar, its area comes around 12,000 to 15,000 sq. ft. and construction in a 10 cents plot where land price is Rs 60 to 70 lakhs per cent.
Meanwhile, Pathanamthitta Police Chief Sujit Das has been removed from the position after Anvar leaked a vice clip of his conversation with him (Sujit Das) a few days before. Voice clip revealed that Sujit tried to influence the MLA. It was to withdraw the MLA’s complaint over an illegal tree felling in Malappuram District Police Chief’s office compound. The tree-felling occurred when Sujit Das was the District Police Chief there. The cop was heard requesting the MLA to send an email to withdraw the complaint.
Now, there are reports that Pinarayi Vijayan needs an eyewash. Therefore, he is reportedly gearing up to suspend Ajitkumar and P. Sasi. Ajit Kumar told the media that he has dispatched the message to the chief minister and the state police chief to initiate enquiries against him.
No doubt, Anvar’s allegation about the murder should be investigated. According to Anvar, Ajit Kumar snoops the phones of the ministers and important personalities and he (Anvar) snoops the phone of the top cop’s wife ! It once again proves that administration is an absolute disaster.
PV Anvar MLA said that both Ajit Kumar and Sujit Das would surely end up in jail because of their criminal and illegal activities.
But, a natural question arises as to how does Anvar snoop the phone of the ADGP’s wife. Is an MLA authorised to do so ? BJP leader and former Union Minister V Muraleedharan demanded an explanation from the chief minister regarding the purpose of the illegal phone conversation. BJP President K Surendran asked the CM to answer Anvar’s allegation. Since the alleger is a ruling party MLA, people do not see any reason to disbelieve it.
