Sewa Bharti, in collaboration with the National Medical Organisation (NMO), is going to organise a free health check-up camp for journalists working in various media institutions.

The free health check-up camp will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the Sewa Bharti Diagnostic and Dialysis Center, Vadhera Bhawan, Ashok Vihar, near Satyawati College. The camp will run from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The main objective of this camp is to ensure the health and well-being of journalists and provide them with necessary medical services.

Doctors specialising in allopathy and homeopathy will be available at the camp to diagnose and consult on health issues faced by journalists. Additionally, free tests will be conducted based on the doctor’s advice.

“This camp provides journalists with a valuable opportunity to receive consultations from expert doctors and address their health concerns. Such initiatives help raise awareness among journalists about the importance of health amidst their busy lives”, said Bhupendra Kumar, Sewa Bharti Delhi Prachar Pramukh told Organiser.

“In our previous medical camps also, journalists came for check-ups, but based on their suggestions, we are organising a special medical camp exclusively for the journalist fraternity. We are expecting that more than 70 journalists will attend this camp. Following this, we are also planning to organise a camp for the families of journalists,” told Bhupendra Kumar.

“For this medical camp, journalists don’t need to register; they are required to bring their media institution-issued i-card and get their check-up and tests done. NMO is providing us with doctors for this camp, free of cost as a mark of their sewa,” he added.

“This initiative by Seva Bharti and National Medical Organisation is a significant step towards ensuring that journalists maintain their health while managing their demanding work schedules”, he told Organiser.

This health check-up camp highlights the importance of health awareness among journalists and shows a proactive effort to support their well-being.

Notably, Sewa Bharti is always at the forefront, whether providing ration during COVID-19, relief during floods, or assistance in train accidents. Their unwavering commitment to social service ensures timely support to those in need.

Known for its dedication and efficiency, Sewa Bharti is consistently extending its helping hand in crises, making a significant impact on people across India with its humanitarian selfless approach.

NMO is an organisation of Medical and Dental Doctors and Students working with the aim of Swasthya Sewa, Rashtra Sewa! It is relentlessly working for the betterment of the society with the objective of developing national character, creating devotion to the nation and humanity, and working for the welfare of underprivileged people. It works with aim to inculcate nationalism in the doctors so that they can work with integrity and selflessness.
