Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, who is scheduled to embark on a four-day Tripura visit on May 24, will attend the special training camp for the North East being hosted in Agartala.

According to a press statement issued by the RSS, “Mohan Bhagwat will embark on a four-day Tripura visit on May 24 next. He will continue his stay till May 27. The Sarsanghchalak is arriving to attend the special training camp for the North East region being hosted in Agartala.”

“This visit will be solely from the perspective of the ongoing training camp being hosted in Tripura. Sarsanghchalak Ji will speak to students on various topics during his stay in Seva Dham,” read the press communique from the organisation, which is considered as the ideological fountainhead of the BJP.

The press statement added that the RSS has a special 5-tier training programme. It starts with a 3-day introductory course, followed by a 15-day Sangh Shiksha Varg (training camp), a 20-day Karyakarta Vikas Varg, and a 25-day Karyakarta Vikas Varg.

Karyakarta Vikas Varg is a field leader development training programme. This year, the Karyakarta Vikas Varg for the Assam region, which covers Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Assam, commenced on May 18 at Agartala Sevadham.

A total of 152 students, 30 teachers, and 40 administrators are participating in the special training session.

Students from Manipur, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and Tripura have been taking part in the whole process.
