Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the Muslim community to reflect and reconsider their approach towards political participation, cautioning against a narrow focus on power dynamics. He urged them to understand the importance of looking beyond political affiliations and prioritizing the welfare of future generations.

Amid the ongoing political tussle between the BJP and Congress during the Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi urged the Muslim community to ponder their contribution to national development while cautioning against attempts by the opposition to exploit religious divisions for political gain.

He made a direct appeal to the Muslim community, urging introspection into their experiences, particularly during the Congress era, and questioning why they may have felt excluded from government schemes. He emphasised the importance of considering their children’s future and well-being, expressing a desire to prevent any community from living in fear or underprivileged conditions.

“We are not opposed to Islam and Muslims,” said PM Modi. He urged the Muslim community to think critically about their future and consider their position in the country’s progress. Modi’s focus on the Muslim community reflects a broader political narrative, as the BJP seeks to consolidate its Hindu voter base by portraying rivals as pro-Muslim.

Addressing the Muslim community directly, PM Modi urged introspection and reflection on their experiences during the Congress era, questioning why they did not benefit from government schemes then. He emphasised the importance of voting and encouraged Muslims to consider their children’s future, expressing a desire to see every community thrive without fear.

While speaking, PM Modi also touched on various critical issues in the ongoing elections, including reservation policies, economic challenges, and national security. He shared personal anecdotes and insights into his vision for India’s future, reiterating his commitment to the BJP’s philosophy of inclusive development.

As the Lok Sabha elections unfold, PM Modi’s impassioned addresses and campaign efforts continue to shape the political landscape, with the BJP aiming for a decisive victory. Despite challenges and controversies, PM Modi remains focused on his vision for a “New India,” aspiring to propel the country towards greater prosperity and global prominence.
