Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a rally in Secunderabad, made a one-on-one compression between BJP and I.N.D.I Alliance and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for leading the BJP, while calling the Congress and its allies “scammers”.

“PM Modi is leading the BJP and I.N.D.I Alliance is formed by associating a lot of parties. On one side, there is the scammer Congress and their supporting parties. On the other side, there is PM Modi, who has never been charged with corruption. On one hand, Rahul Gandhi was born with a silver spoon. On the other hand, PM Modi, who was born in a poor family… On one hand, the Congress Party only raised slogans of ‘Garibi Hatao’. On the other hand, PM Modi worked for the poor…”

“Does the I.N.D.I Alliance have any leader who can be trusted with the position of Prime Minister? They are deliberating on making the PM position rotational… How can they even come up with such an absurd idea!,” he added further.

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, is BJP candidate from Secunderabad Lok Sabha Constituency, while Congress has filed sitting MP Danam Nagender as it’s candidate. Earlier in the day, responding to Congress allegations that if the BJP regains power at the centre, it will remove reservation, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been in power for the past 10 years, but instead of removing reservation, he utilised the majority in the Lok Sabha for abrogating Article 370, ending Triple Talaq, and constructing the Ram Temple.

Amit Shah was holding a rally in Telangana’s Nizamabad on Sunday, where he said, “Congress said that if PM Modi comes to power, the reservation will be removed…PM Modi has been in power for the last 10 years…he utilised the majority for removing Article 370, to end triple talaq, to make Ram Temple and to ban PFI.”
Shah also took a jibe at Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over his allegations of Delhi police being after him. “My video was edited and an attempt was made to spread tension. Revanth Reddy says that Delhi Police are after him, if you make fake videos, what else can you expect?” said Shah.

Further coming to abrogation of Article 370 Shah attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his alleged statement saying if Article 370 is abrogated there will be a ‘blood bath’ in Kashmir.

“That time Congress’ shehzada’, ‘Rahul baba’ used to say don’t abrogate Article 370 otherwise there will be a blood bath in Kashmir, but it’s been five years since then, and no one even dared to pelt a pebble.

Rahul Baba says if they return to power, they will bring back Article 370. I want to tell him, stop daydreaming, as neither your government nor Article 370 are coming back,” Shah said. “We removed triple talaq, Congress says don’t remove it we will bring it back. I want to tell you Congress do appeasement politics,” he added.

Notably, polling for 17 parliamentary constituencies in Telangana is scheduled to be held in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 13. The counting for all seven phases of the Lok Sabha polls will be held on June 4.
In 2019, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) won nine seats in the state. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured four seats. The Indian National Congress (INC) obtained three seats. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) won one seat. (With Inputs from ANI)
