The row over alleged humiliation of Congress media coordinator and spokesperson, Radhika Khera by a fellow party worker of the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has intensified.

According to the reports, the alleged misconduct of the communication head of the Congress party in Chhattisgarh, Sushil Anand Shukla, has now sparked sharp reactions from the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress party itself, who are now seeking action against Shukla along with his removal from the post.

In a letter addressed to PCC chief Deepak Baij, the former general secretary of the PCC, Arun Singh Sisodia, while expressing his resentment over the incident, demanded the removal of the communication head of the party in Chhattisgarh if the allegations are found true.

Sisodia, in the letter that these are the same people, due to which the party has lost the elections. He has further has hinted that a certain section of people have captured the organisation and are not allowing deserving people to come forward.

BJP slams the incident

Meanwhile, reacting to the incident, several leaders of the BJP, including Chief Minister Vishnu Deo, has lashes out at the Congress party over its treatment of the women leaders.

Taking to the X, CM Sai, while slamming the Congress party over the row, said that “the Chhattisgarh’s communication department chief of the Congress party has misbehaved and fought with with his own party’s female national spokesperson, Radhika Khera. The situation even reached the stage of filing a report at the police station.”

The anti-women mentality of the Congress party is well known. This party has been insulting mothers and sisters since always, read the CM’s post further.

Further, the State unit of the BJP, while taking a dig at the general secretary of the Congress party, Priyanka Gandhi over her much hyped “Ladki Hun Lad Sakti Hun” slogan, said that “before giving free knowledge to others, save the woman of your own party from Duhshasan of Congress.”

Radhika expresses her resentment again

Meanwhile, expressing her disappointment over the incident in a sarcastic manner, Khera said in a social media post on X that ‘Kaka’s fascination for ‘Dushil’ is more important than a girl’s honour, but I am a girl and I am fighting (Ladki hun Lad rahi hun), Sister is welcome in the maternal home of Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram.

एक लड़की की इज़्ज़त से बढ़कर है

लेकिन,

The latest post of Khera follows an earlier tweet in which the Congress leader, while expressing her pain over the mistreatment, said, ” A daughter is not safe in the maternal home of Mata Kaushalya, Even today, people suffering from male chauvinistic mentality want to crush the daughters under their feet. I will reveal it.”

It is to be noted that a serious verbal confrontation reportedly erupted between Khera and the head of the communication department of the Chhattisgarh unit of the Congress party following the party’s president Mallikarjun Kharge’s rally in Janjgir Champa on Tuesday, April 30.

Later on, Khera was seen in tears in the party’s headquarters, and a video of the same has also gone viral over the internet. In the viral video, Radhika can be heard narrating her ordeal to a senior leader of the Congress party. The spokesperson for the Congress party can further be heard asserting that she is going to resign from the party as she has never faced such humiliation in her entire life.
