“Congress hate SC, ST, OBCs…will give away their rights to Muslims”: JP Nadda

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda on April 26, claimed that the Congress and I.N.D.I Alliance have a hidden agenda to snatch away the rights of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes and give it to Muslims for their appeasement.

“The hidden agenda of Congress and I.N.D.I Alliance is to snatch away the rights of SC, ST, OBC and give the same to Muslims. Congress says that the first right to resources of the country is that of Muslims. Whereas, PM Narendra Modi says that the first right to resources of the country is that of the poor. Manmohan Singh did not make that statement mistakenly. He did it deliberately because while answering a question in April 2009 – during a press conference in Mumbai – he stood by his statement and said that minorities, especially Muslims, should be given priority and the first right to resources of the country should be theirs,” Nadda said.

pic.twitter.com/P5cLDjj4m4

BJP chief further said that Congress deliberately used the fact findings of the Sachar Committee and falsely quoted the report claiming that “Muslims were in worse shape than Dalits”.

“Through the Sachar Committee Report, false statements were made and it was said that Muslims are in worse shape than Dalits. It means that Congress was already creating a base to declare Muslims SC and provide facilities for SC reservations to them,” the BJP chief said.

“Congress hates SC, ST and OBC because the majority of the population in the country comprises them and this is Congress party’s manifesto,” he added. Nadda further said that Congress had been creating ground to declare Muslims as SC.

“Congress was already creating a base to declare Muslims SC and provide facilities of SC reservations to them. Congress hates SC, ST and OBC because the majority of the population in the country comprises them and Congress party’s manifesto is all about that. This is their only intention,” he said.

Earlier today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that after the Congress manifesto was released, people’s inclination towards the Bharatiya Janata Party has increased further because Congress has repeated its old habit of appeasement in its manifesto.

“First of all, I would like to appeal to the voters to elect a party that stands on its words–for a secure and prosperous country and the welfare of the poor. After the Congress manifesto was released, people’s inclination towards the BJP further increased because, in its manifesto, Congress has repeated its old habit of appeasement. The Congress manifesto speaks of taking personal law forward. I would like to ask Rahul Gandhi, Will this country now work as per Sharia?” he said.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also hit out at Congress, accusing it of planning to implement the ‘Sharia law’ in the country and redistribute people’s property.

“Congress has written in its manifesto about bringing personal laws for a particular community. Through this move, Congress aims to impose Sharia law, bringing a Taliban-style rule to India. This clearly indicates that Congress and the I.N.D.I alliance pose a threat to the Constitution crafted by Baba Saheb,” he said at an election rally in Amroha.
