In a game-changing turn of events, the Arunachal Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has revealed that a substantial portion of its MLA candidates have secured unopposed victories in the upcoming Assembly Elections slated for April 14, 2024. Out of the total 60 constituencies, a remarkable ten candidates have emerged triumphant without facing any opposition, marking a significant development in the state’s political landscape.

The triumphant candidates, representing a diverse array of constituencies, include prominent leaders such as Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, and a host of other seasoned politicians. Other notable winners include Er. Ratu Techi from the 15 Sagalee constituency, Jikke Tako from the 20 Tali constituency, and Nyato Dukam from the 23 Taliha constituency. Their unopposed victories not only reflect the confidence and trust reposed in the BJP but also signal a resounding endorsement of their leadership and governance.

The list continues with Mutchu Mithi emerging victorious in the 43 Roing constituency, Hage Appa securing the 17 Ziro Hapoli constituency, and Techi Kaso representing the 13 Itanagar constituency. Additionally, Dongru Siongju has clinched victory in the 7 Bomdila constituency, while Smt Dasanglu Pul triumphs in the 45 Hayuliang constituency.

Taking to the microblogging site X, Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his gratitude and congratulations to the successful candidates, acknowledging their remarkable feat in the state’s electoral history. He extended warm wishes to each of them, emphasizing their collective commitment to serving the people with dedication and sincerity.

Furthermore, CM Khandu attributed the overwhelming support and trust received from the constituents to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting a shared aspiration for a better future. He underscored the deep sense of responsibility instilled by this mandate, pledging to uphold the trust placed in them by the electorate.

As the state prepares for the upcoming Assembly Elections, the unopposed victories secured by the BJP candidates not only underscore the party’s stronghold but also signal a renewed mandate for continuity and progress in Arunachal Pradesh’s governance. With the assurance of strong leadership and unwavering dedication, the BJP looks forward to steering the state towards greater prosperity and development under its visionary leadership.
