Puducherry: ABVP’s Central Working Committee to focus education sector

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organised a press conference on February 26 in Puducherry, with notable attendees including ABVP National General Secretary Yagywalkya Shukla, National Secretary Shravan B Raj, National Media Convener Ashutosh Singh, North Tamil Nadu State Secretary Yuvraj, and Pondicherry University Unit Joint-Secretary Arti.

ABVP is gearing up to convene its two-day Central Working Committee (CWC) Meeting on February 27-28 in Puducherry. The event will witness participation from ABVP activists hailing from various parts of the country. The agenda includes a comprehensive review of past activities and the formulation of future plans. Notably, a resolution condemning the alleged heinous crimes against women by leaders of the ruling Trinamool Congress party in Sandeshkhali, West Bengal, is slated to be introduced during the CWC meeting.

The meeting will address ABVP’s organizational activities nationwide, along with developments in the education sector, issues impacting youth, the prevailing national landscape, and the country’s social dynamics. Additionally, a strategic blueprint will be devised to guide the youth towards positive endeavors under ABVP’s leadership.

ABVP National Secretary, Shravan B Raj, emphasised, “The post-COVID era brings both challenges and opportunities for our youth. We are dedicated to empowering them through constructive initiatives under ABVP’s guidance. This meeting serves as a platform for student voices to resonate nationally. The outcomes will significantly influence the lives of millions of students nationwide. The forthcoming CWC meeting holds utmost importance in shaping vital organisational strategies.”

Addressing a gathering, ABVP National General Secretary, Yagywalkya Shukla, highlighted the determination of Bharat’s youth to contribute positively across diverse domains. Shukla reiterated ABVP’s commitment to addressing the national challenge of educating and skilling youth, aiming to equip them with initiatives that uphold Bharatiya values and morals. He emphasized that the upcoming meeting would serve as a catalyst for fostering dialogue and collaboration among students, policymakers, and other stakeholders.
