As soon as the information about the incident was received, District Magistrate Rajiv Roshan, SSP Jagannath Reddy along with heavy police force including police of many police stations and QRT district police force reached the spot and pacified the matter.
The District Magistrate said that the idol immersion was carried out after talks with both the sides. The whole matter is being investigated. Police officials say that whoever is found guilty behind this will be strictly dealt with. He said that the miscreants are being identified. No matter who the person is, action will be taken against them.
Here, SSP Jagannath Reddy said that action will be taken against those who have carried out such a heinous incident. At present, there is an atmosphere of peace in the village. CCTV and video footage is being investigated, with the help of which the criminals will be identified. Strict legal action will be taken against those who create ruckus during the immersion so that such an incident does not happen in future. According to the police administration, the situation is said to be peaceful.
