Amidst Pongal festivities and Jallikattu celebrations in Tamil Nadu, TN BJP President K Annamalai has presented a Pongal gift to the public—a second audio clip. This clip features former Union Minister A Raja and the then TN intelligence chief Jaffer Sait, associated with the DMK. Annamalai suggests that if the contents of both audio clips are verified, they could reveal collusion between the UPA government and corrupt DMK officials to undermine or dismiss a significant scam, potentially allowing the accused to evade consequences.
n the heels of festive fervor, Annamalai dropped “DMK Files 3,” a purported audio clip and further accusations against the ruling DMK, raising fresh allegations of collusion and scam manipulation during the UPA era.
This latest installment follows two previous “DMK Files” releases. Part 1, in April 2023, detailed the wealth of DMK leaders, with TR Baalu’s alleged assets reaching a staggering Rs. 10,841 crores. In June, Part 2 targeted Chief Minister MK Stalin, accusing him of misappropriating around Rs. 1,30,000 crores. Both releases were accompanied by memorandums to the Governor seeking investigation.
“DMK Files 3” presents an alleged conversation between DMK MP TR Baalu and the then state Intelligence chief Jaffer Sait during the 2006-2011 DMK reign. Annamalai claims the audio reveals a concerted effort between Congress and DMK to control the 2G scam probe. He alleges they decided on raid timings, manipulated news to weaken the investigation, and even orchestrated convenient delays to suit their needs.
Annamalai unveiled this explosive information at Thuglak magazine’s 54th anniversary celebrations. “Part III shows what kind of party the DMK is,” he asserted, calling it a “Pongal release” following the two earlier installments. He further promised more shocking revelations in the coming days, hinting at tapes featuring the then Chief Secretary, A Raja’s personal secretary, and even a conversation between TR Baalu and the CBI Director.
These allegations have ignited a political firestorm, with the DMK vehemently denying any wrongdoing. They have dismissed the audio as fake and accused the BJP of resorting to cheap tactics to divert attention from their own shortcomings.
Meanwhile, the public and media are keenly awaiting independent verification of the audio clip and further releases promised by Annamalai. If proven authentic, “DMK Files 3” could have major political ramifications, shaking the DMK’s image and potentially triggering fresh investigations into the 2G scam and other alleged irregularities.
This is one of the many tapes that will expose the corrupt nature of the I.N.D.I. Alliance, which held a different name between 2004-14.#DMKFiles3

On January 17, Annamalai , as said earlier, released the second audio tape in an ongoing exposé, shedding light on a conversation between former Union Minister A. Raja and ex-Intelligence Chief Jaffar Sait IPS. In the audio recording, Raja and Jaffar discuss strategies to sabotage the 2G investigation conducted by the CBI during the UPA regime. The dialogue delves into manipulating witnesses and accused individuals to influence the outcome of the probe. This revelation is part of a series exposing how the DMK allegedly manipulated the CBI inquiry during the 2G Probe. The first tape involved DMK MP TR Baalu where he connived with MS Jaffar Sait, the former Intelligence Chief of Tamil Nadu during the 2G Scam case hearings in 2010-11.

Raja: They asked us not to worry, they asked what it was, and we informed them. They asked what the message was. He answered a few questions. He said he would become an approver and asked if he could know more. They said it would be a serious situation if he became an approver.
Sait: Ok

Sait: That’s all sir, let us get it done with.
Raja: They didn’t go abroad also it seems.
Sait: OK, sir
Raja: When going abroad, they wanted to go to the Swiss for Etisalat
Sait: Yes Yes
The authenticity of the recently released audio tape by TN BJP Chief Annamalai, featuring a conversation between A. Raja and ex-Intelligence Chief Jaffar Sait IPS, remains unverified. The ongoing exposé series suggests the DMK’s alleged manipulation of the CBI’s 2G investigation during the UPA era. Adding intrigue, Jaffar Sait is now entangled in a corruption case. The ED’s inquiry reveals improper allocations of Government Discretionary Quota plots, with Sait allegedly benefiting from a prime location plot under his wife’s name. Despite not meeting eligibility criteria, the plot was purportedly sold for a profit. Simultaneously, the Delhi High Court continues hearings on the CBI and ED’s appeals against the acquittal of A. Raja and others in the 2G Spectrum Allocation case.
