Nadda also said that they would ensure that the rights of the residents of Mizoram were protected at all costs. Speaking at the occasion, President Nadda said that the BJP believes in the politics of report card and not in vote bank politics. He said, “We believe in report card politics.

The political culture of the country has been changed by Prime Minister Modi. Initially, people used to fight elections on the basis of religion, caste, creed, area, and region. These were the factors of every election, and parties used to collect votes based on the politics of the vote bank.. But since Prime Minister Modi has come to power, the definition of politics has changed in the entire country. Now the definition of politics is politics of performance, politics of accountability, and politics of development of every region, each caste, and every creed.

There should not be any gender discrimination. There should not be any caste discrimination. There should not be any regional discrimination. In the last nine years people of this region have seen how the priority of the central government has changed towards the Northeast. The region has seen all-round development under the leadership of PM Modi. This is how the BJP works, and the party has gone forward,” President Nadda added.
