The Bhumi Pujan, a sacred ritual that is deeply ingrained in Indian tradition, was conducted in accordance with Indian customs and rituals. It was graced by the presence of prominent leaders, scholars, and activists who played a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s future. The ceremony was presided over by Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sunil Ambekar; Chairman of the National Book Trust Milind Marathe; Manu Sharma Kataria, the National Chief of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), and Prafulla Akant, the National Co-Organizational Secretary of ABVP.

Other prominent personalities who were present on the occasion included Nidhi Tripathi, former National General Secretary of ABVP, Dr Abhishek Tandon, Delhi State President of ABVP, and State Minister Harsh Atri, who is actively involved in promoting educational and youth-related initiatives in the region. The event also saw the presence of Member of Parliament Ramesh Bidhuri, and Kishan Agrawal, Director and renowned entrepreneur from Bikaner Wala, a prominent food chain.

Subhash C. Agrawal, a senior member of Assocham’s Managing Committee, Aparajita, the National Secretary of the Delhi University Students’ Union, Manjinder Sirsa, Ashish Sood, and Rajiv Babbar, were among others who graced the occasion. The gathering was further enriched by the participation of educators, professors, and entrepreneurs from various educational institutions in Delhi.

The Bhumi Pujan ceremony served as a symbol of auspicious beginnings and the coming together of diverse minds with a common purpose – to celebrate the unity in diversity that India represents. The 69th ABVP National Convention or Rashtriya Adhiveshan, comes at an opportune occasion as ABVP marks its 75th anniversary this year. The conference, themed Amrit Mahotsav, with its focus on academic, cultural, and socio-political discussions, aims to provide a platform for young minds to exchange ideas, engage in constructive dialogues, and learn from one another’s perspectives.

This national-level convention, which will be spread over four days, will feature a wide array of activities, including panel discussions, cultural performances, workshops, and more. It is anticipated to be an intellectual and cultural extravaganza that will foster unity, knowledge sharing, and harmony among the youth of the nation.

The ABVP National Convention is a testament to the growing aspirations and talents of India’s youth and the significant role they play in shaping the future of the country. It promises to be a vibrant and dynamic event, bringing together young minds from across the nation to ignite change, promote awareness, and celebrate the rich diversity that is Bharat’s true strength.

As the Bhumi Pujan ceremony concluded, the attendees left with a sense of anticipation and a shared commitment to make the 69th ABVP National Convention a resounding success. This event is not just a convention but a celebration of unity in diversity, knowledge, and the spirit of the youth – the future torchbearers of India. The journey has begun, and December 7th is eagerly awaited as the convention opens its doors to young visionaries from all corners of the nation.
