The Vijayadashami Utsav of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Darlaghat, Solan began with the worship of traditional weapons, symbolising the RSS’ commitment to self-defence and national security. After the weapon worship, the shakhas of the RSS were held. Dr Manmohan Vaidya, the Sah Sarkaryavah of RSS, emphasised the importance of these shakhas as a means to foster a sense of belonging and unity within the community. He highlighted the significance of giving back to society, as the society has provided us with so much. In his speech, he stressed that the RSS plays a crucial role in bringing like-minded individuals together to work for the betterment of society.

Dr Vaidya underlined the duty of every RSS karyakarta to contribute to the overall development of the nation. He emphasised that joining hands with individuals who uphold noble values and ideals is essential for the progress of the nation. He spoke about Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and called the people to tread on the path of selfless service and unity.

The RSS procession then took to the streets with a parade, marching through Rajgarh Road, Mal Road, and the main market. The local residents welcomed the procession at various locations, including the old police station and the old bus stand, with showers of flowers.

In a spirit of unity and togetherness, the RSS volunteers conveyed the message of national unity and Hinduism as they walked side by side during the procession. This path of solidarity aimed to symbolise the organisation’s commitment to fostering a sense of oneness within society.

The foundation day celebration in Darlaghat marked an occasion for RSS karyakartas to come together, reinforcing their commitment to selfless service, societal development, and the preservation of traditional values. Dr Manmohan Vaidya’s words resonated with the crowd, reminding them of their duty to contribute to the betterment of society and the nation as a whole.

RSS’ Vijayadashami Utsav in Darlaghat was a vibrant display of devotion to the principles of selfless service, unity, and national development. As the RSS karyakartas walked together on the streets, they sent a powerful message of national unity and Hindu values to the community, reinforcing their commitment to the betterment of society and the nation.
