Anti-Sanatana Dharma Rant: Cutting south vs unifying bharat

Udayanidhi Stalin’s attack on Sanatan Dharma is a well calculated move to continue with his Government’s proselytisation agenda. But it has backfired and united all Hindus

Tamil Nadu and entire South India is witnessing a new heat wave. It arose from the hate politics orchestrated by the DMK ‘prince’ Udayanidhi Stalin. He asked elimination or eradication of Sanatan Dharma. The history of DMK throughout its timeline showed hate politics and movement against Hinduism. Their political icon EV Ramaswamy Naikkar initiated the Dravidian movement to break the strong foothold of ‘Sanatan Dharma’ in Tamil culture and life. He and his predecessors, except, who later formed AIADMK, MGR and J Jayalalitha, tried to alienate Hindutva from Tamil culture and to inculcate a new narrative for Dravidian movement and to weaponise them.

Targeting Temples

Just after coming to power, MK Stalin and DMK initiated a move against Bhagwan Murugan and the general public retaliated with public recitation of ‘Skanda Shashti Kavacham’. He initiated a move to erase so many temples which were there for hundreds of years. Stalin and his accomplices tried to interfere in the administration of prestigious temples, leading to skirmishes in Chidambaram temple. And the judiciary several times showed him the way and he was asked to keep out.

Relevance of Tamil Culture

Tamil culture is fully immersed with Hindu traditions, rituals and so on. Nobody can think of Tamil without Thiruvalluvar’s Thirukkural, Ouvayyar, Subrahmanya Bharati, Agasthar, Bhogar – Sidhar tradition and so on. Sreerangam, Vaitheeswaram, Chidambaram, Brihadeswaram, Kancheepuram, Kumbhakonam, Madhura, Thiruvannamalai and Kanyakumari, where the foot of Bharat Mata is touching in the holy trio seas, all are the sacred pilgrim places of Hindus.

“This is a test for Rahul Gandhi. He has to take a decision whether he respects Sanatan Dharma or not. If he does not snap ties with DMK or expel Chidambaram, then it will be confirmed that these people (Congress) are anti-Hindu, they do not like Sanatan Dharma, they do not like the Hindu religion” — Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister, Assam

DMK Chief Minister MK Stalin’s wife recently dedicated a golden crown to the Guruvayoorappan temple in Kerala. However, after a few weeks, her son and a converted Crypto Christian Udayanidhi lashed out against Sanatan Dharma. He said it’s a curse like mosquito, dengue, flu and malaria, which is to be wiped out and eradicated. The common men came out to the street in all the South Indian States. Social media brought out his pictures with Pentecost priests. The public opinion says that he and his father are trying to pave way for Pentecost conversion moves. Nobody sees it as gibberish uttered by an immature prince in ‘q’ for the throne. But it is a move against Hindu culture and Bharat, cutting the South and breaking India team’s disguised hands are seen by the observers. But BJP state President Annamalai rightly told that Udayanidhi is the ‘Pappu’ of South India.

“Udhayanidhi Stalin made a shameless comment, comparing Sanatan with Dengue, Malaria and Corona. Why is Rahul Gandhi silent on this? He calls himself a Hindu who visits temples. Why have Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav not spoken a word about it? Tejashwi (Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav) had taken his father (RJD chief Lalu Yadav) to the Sidhhivinayak temple. Was it just for the cameras?” — Ravi Shankar Prasad, former Union Minister

Diversionary Tactics

Political analysts see it as a move to thwart the attention of the general public from the corruption charges levelled against DMK by Annamalai. In a series of ‘DMK files’, he brought out the corruption of Rs 1.45 lakhs crores against DMK. The evidence on Rs 200 crores bribe for the Chennai Metro was exposed by Annamalai. The corruption charges trembled the citadels of DMK. Now they are forced to reply. The public anger is visible. Annamalai walked all over Tamil Nadu in a programme named ‘En Mannu En Makkal’ (My Land My People). Seven hundred kilometres and 243 Assembly constituencies were covered and dynastic corruption was explained. Consequently, Stalin, son Udayanidhi, daughter Senthamarai and son-in-law Sabareesan were exposed. Observers say it is a sudden provocation and it is a pandemic started from Kerala. Kerala speaker AN Shamseer, who is a fanatic religious Muslim, depicted Ganapathy as myth and surgery done by Susrutha and Charaka are not in tune to the scientific temper. Karthi Chidambaram, MP and son of Congress leader P Chidambaram and actor Prakash Raj were the lone supporters who came out for Udayanidhi Stalin. Even other leaders of DMK kept silent.

“I have a great regard for the people of Tamil Nadu. But my humble request to them, every religion has its separate sentiments. India is a secular country, it is a democratic country and at the same time, unity in diversity is our origin. So, I respect Sanatan Dharma. We should not be involved in any matter which may hurt any section.”
— Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal Chief Minister

Unifying Hindus

Now the entire South is witnessing widespread protest and the general public is coming against these hurtful comments. A new dawn of common cause has united Hindu movement from illiterate to top IT professionals and all walks of life are emerging to protect the culture, tradition and values of Sanatan Dharma. Yes, it is not cutting the South but merging the South with East, West and North of Bharatvarsh.
