In a shocking turn of events, two young men in their early twenties were stabbed in Haryana’s Faridabad district on the intervening night of September 8. The attack was so brutal that one of them died while being taken to the hospital and the other is still struggling between life and death. The attackers belonged to the Muslim community and had grudges against the victims, who actively worked for Sanatan Dharma.

Notably, the victims have been identified as 21-year-old Alok Chaudhary, who died in the hospital. Whereas the other victim has been identified as Shivam Kumar, who is still admitted to the hospital. It is noteworthy that, another friend of Shivam and Alok was attacked by the mob.

The accused, on the other hand, have been identified as Yamin, Raja, and Guga, Bogga and Salman among others.

What says the FIR?

As per the First Information Report (number–615/2023) registered at the Palla police station of the Faridabad district on September 9, the victim, Alok, was stabbed by a mob on the intervening night of September 8 and 9.

Alok’s father, Navin Kumar Choudhary, told the police in his complaint, that he is a native of Raji Jagat village of the Madhubani district of Bihar. He added, he moved with his family to Delhi and lives in the Ekta Vihar area. He runs a small paan shop to look after his family.

On September 8, at around 1 am in night, he received a call from a person who said, Someone had stabbed Alok with a knife. Soon, he rushed to the spot and found Rahul Negi, who was his son’s good friend.

Copy of the FIR as obtained by the Organiser

Negi told him that a mob had launched an attack on Alok, Shivam, and one of their friends, including Yamin, Raja, Guga, and others.

As the attackers stabbed him, Alok ran to save his life. Both Alok and Shivam were not at the spot where the scuffle broke out. When the family searched for them, they found Alok lying unconscious in a park at around 4 a.m.

They rushed to the AIIMS Trauma Center in Delhi, where the doctors pronounced him dead.

Following the FIR, the accused were booked under IPC sections 302 (attempt to murder) and 34 (act done by several people with common intentions).

What said the police?

Organiser called the Palla Station House Officer, Dalip Singh on September 9 and he said, no arrest has been made in this case as of now. The investigation is on and as many as four teams are on the ground tracking the culprits, they will soon be behind bars.

The police also shared a post on platform ‘X’ informing about the case and shared how teams are trying to locate the accused involved in this case. The post can be seen here:

Claims around the murder

Notably, the locals have claimed that the two men were brutally killed as they belong to the Bajrang Dal and were actively working against the menace of what is often termed as ‘Love Jihad’ (As per the definition by mainstream media, any Muslim man hiding his identity to trap a Hindu woman to get her converted is called Love Jihad).

It has come to light that these volunteers have recently stopped a group of Muslim men from luring a Hindu woman. The attackers held grudges against the victims and this led to the attack on September 9. As of now, no comments can be made, unless the statement of the aggrieved family comes to light. (Organiser will update this report with the details later)

Other Bajrang Dal volunteers died in Haryana

As per the reports, a Bajrang Dal member died on July 31, in the Nuh violence at the Jalabhisekh Yatra. The victim was identified as  Pradeep Sharma the president of Bajrang Dal from the Badshahpur area and lived with his family in Maruti Kunj in Bhondsi.

Police said Sharma suffered injuries all over his body including the head. He was attacked near Sohna, when he was returning to Gurugram. “He was driving a car. It had five people including women when the car was intercepted and they were brutally assaulted. He was attacked with a sharp object,” said Manjeet Kumar, a member of Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

On July 31, an Islamist mob pelted stones at a Hindu religious procession in Haryana’s Nuh district. The devotees gathered to attend the procession, which covered temples in the district. Many media reports have revealed that the attack was pre-planned, as the locals were angry over a cow vigilante joining the procession. The other trigger point is assumed to be the state government’s action against cow smugglers.

It is noteworthy that while searching documents relating to the violence, Organiser accessed as many as fifteen FIRs where the victims revealed the horrors of the day. Some said attackers were chanting Pakistan Zindabad and Allah Hu Akbar slogans, others found vehicles from Rajasthan, and some were attacked and looted.
