The whole left-liberal media is busy highlighting the Muzaffarnagar case, where a Hindu teacher allegedly attacked a Muslim student for his religious identity. An opposite case was reported from the valley state of Jammu and Kashmir, where a teacher identified as Farooh Ahmed, thrashed a minor Hindu boy for writing ‘Jai Shri Ram’ on the blackboard. The other day, a school teacher from Tamil Nadu also shared a similar post boasting about her act in the school where she cut the sacred thread (Kalawa) off the Hindu student’s hand.
The post is now deleted from the profile of the teacher named Udaya Lakshmi but is still available on her relative’s profile. The said incident has come to light from Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. The post was done on August 24.
The post as translated by Google says, “I finished important work today in class. I made all the students who were tying ropes in their hands stand in a line and cut the ropes with scissors. I explained why not to tie the rope. I am thinking of being under constant surveillance.”
“On the order of the Chief Minister, he came from the police station for three consecutive days and spoke about social justice and equality in the school morning meeting. But cutting the cords of students can be a starting point for discussion and understanding,” the post further read.
When the government did not allow the tying of ropes, it was right to cut the ropes (sacred thread, Kalawa), added the teacher.

Jammu & Kashmir Case
A new case was reported from Jammu & Kashmir, where a teacher has been arrested for thrashing a minor for writing ‘Jai Shri Ram’. The teacher has been identified as Farooq Ahmed. Whereas the minor was a student at the Government Higher Secondary School (Bani).
As per the reports, Ahmed thrashed a Class 10 student for writing ‘Jai Shri Ram’ on the classroom blackboard, leading to widespread protests against him. The police registered an FIR against the accused teacher and the school’s principal. Police said the principal is absconding from the authorities.
According to the reports, the victim’s father, Kuldeep Singh, submitted a complaint against Ahmed and Hafiz at the police station on August 25, alleging they beat up his son. Based on his complaint, an FIR was registered against the duo at Police Station Bani under relevant Sections of the Juvenile Justice Act.
As per the reports, the teacher and the principal face charges under Sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 342 (wrongful confinement), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 75 (cruelty to child) of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act.
Muzaffarnagar Case
On August 25, a video of a minor boy getting slapped by fellow students in the presence of a female teacher went viral. The said video was circulated in social media by left-liberal media outlets and representatives as a Hindu woman ordering students to beat a Muslim student. However, after the video went viral, the Uttar Pradesh police issued a clarification video stating there was no communal angle in the video. The teacher turned out to be a Divyang and hence she used students to punish the minor, claims around the video are rising, and so is the controversy.
As per reports, the incident took place on August 24 when a student got his multiplication table wrong. The class teacher, who is a handicapped woman, instructed other kids in the class to slap him. She was identified as Tripta Tyagi, the owner of the Neha Public School.
In a video, that went viral on social media, the said student could be seen in tears while other kids slapped him one by one. Tyagi was also heard saying, “Kya tum maar rahe ho? Zor se maaro na (Why are you hitting him lightly? Hit him hard).” She had also made a reference to ‘Mohammedan students.’
The area falls under the jurisdiction of Mansurpur police station. While speaking about the incident, SP (Muzaffarnagar) Satyanarayan Prajapat, informed, “In the video, the teacher said that the Mohammedan children, who are not looked after by their mothers, go astray. This was also confirmed by the man who shot the video.”
The child’s father told The Indian Express that he would not send his child to the school on receipt of the refund of the fees. “A settlement has been reached that no complaint would be filed,” he was heard saying.
“My son is seven years old. This incident happened on August 24. The teacher made the students beat my child again & again. My nephew made the video and had gone to school for some work…My seven-year-old child was tortured for an hour or two. He is scared…This is not a Hindu-Muslim matter. We want the law should take its own course,” he said.
After the event, the accused teacher acknowledged she erred and was responsible for asking other pupils to hit the little kid for making mistakes. For the same, she asked for an apology. She emphasised that she didn’t pass off any offensive words, as has been reported based on the footage, which she claimed was altered, and that she had no malicious or antisocial motives.
She said, “The video that was made viral was edited and cut, I had no such intentions…in our place, Hindus and Muslims stay with unity and we have more Muslim students in our school…there was pressure from the parents of the child to be strict with him. I am handicapped I can’t get up…he was not doing homework for last 2 months…so I made 2-3 students beat him up so that he would start doing his work…what I said was ‘Muhamdan mothers’ must not take their kids to their uncles’ homes as the exam is approaching. But they cut this video and took the ‘Muhamdan’ word…I had no such intentions…I have made a mistake and I seek apology with folded hands”, she added.
In revelations of these facts, it seems that the incident is one of child abuse and corporal punishment and not a communal hate crime as it has been made out to be on social media and BJP’s opposition. The Muzaffarnagar police, meanwhile, have filed a case against the teacher. It is yet unclear under which IPC sections has the case been filed.
The National Child Commission has further directed the Muzaffarnagar District Magistrate (DM) to take action in the case under Section 17 (child being subjected to physical punishment/mental harassment) of the RTE Act, 2009.
