Har Gar Tiranga Campaign

Union Home Minister Amit Shah hoisted a Tiranga at his official residence here in the national capital as a part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement. Earlier, the Home Minister Shah flagged off a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad during his visit to the State.

“It’s been 75 years of Independence, we cannot die for the country since it has already gained independence, but no one can stop us from living for the country,” Shah said after flagging off the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign.

He further remembered Independence Day of 2022 and said that there was no house that didn’t hoist a tricolour.

“There was no house that didn’t hoist a tricolour on August 15, 2022. When a tricolour is hoisted at every house, then the entire nation will be Tirangamay,” said Amit Shah.

Central Government is celebrating ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ from August 13 to 15 under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Iconic Buildings in the color of Independence

As India prepares to celebrate its 77th Independence Day, the spirit of patriotism is in full swing particularly in Jammu & Kashmir. In Doda, the Ganpat Bridge was illuminated in the colours of the Tricolour on August 13 evening, and a Tiranga rally was organized to mark the occasion.

A video shared by the Doda District Administration shows scores of people carrying a long Indian flag above their heads while chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.”

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had urged the people of India to participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement from August 13 to 15 this year.

He said that the Indian flag symbolises the spirit of freedom and national unity and urged the people to upload their photographs with the Tiranga on the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ website.
