In what can be termed as an inhuman act against the helpless Hindu refugees seeking asylum in India, the congress government of Rajasthan has initiated a demolition drive against the Hindu refugees from Pakistan in Gangana of Jodhpur on Monday April 24.

As per the reports hundreds of homes mostly belonging to the Pakistani Hindus migrants were bulldozed by the Jodhpur Development Authority (JDA) in what they termed as an anti-encroachment drive to free around 400 bighas of the government land.

A video pertaining to the incident is doing the rounds on the social media in which the migrants can be seen expressing their sorry state and helplessness, in the video a man can be seen pointing out to a lady who got fainted after the demolition drive, the man can be heard saying “look at her, she has fainted, this is happening with us in Hindustan, we were devastated in Pakistan now we are being targeted here as well, we are dying.”

Speaking with the Organiser, Bjp leader and the co-founder of the Nimikettam, a NGO working for the welfare of Hindu refugees from the Pakistan, Jay Ahuja said ” that the Gehlot-led congress government is acting selectively against these helpless people who were not even served a notice before the demolition drive, legal procedure has not been followed properly and the government should have thought it sympathetically.”

As per the Nehru-Liaquat pact it was agreed upon that the government of India must provide compulsory asylum to the Pakistani minority, that is in the pact that the government should grant them citizenship on priority and provide all assistance in their rehabilitation but neither the government of India is granting them citizenship on priority basis nor the state government is rehabilitating them, they have been subjected to atrocities of the state government who has been utterly failed in rehabilitating these helpless people, added Mr. Ahuja.

While the JDA has maintained that the land belongs to the government and the drive has been launched to clear illegal encroachment, Ahuja is furious as to why the government is not making any efforts to regularize them, earlier in a tweet Ahuja also pointed out that this whole demolition drive has been initiated on the report of a so-called journalist identified as Moinul haq of some news express, while talking with the Organiser representative Ahuja also alleged that this is nothing but a well-planned conspiracy against the Hindu migrants which has been carried out on behest of some LIU (local intelligence Unit) officials and Moinul.

In another tweet Ahuja, while calling out the hypocrisy and double standards, tweeted that in our country even the Bangladeshis and Rohingyas are protected in the name of humanity by the courts but look at how the Pakistani Hindus are torchered in Rajasthan, the state government will has to pay the price of each stone fallen.
