The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is observing its 44th Sthapna Divas (foundation day), today (April 6). Hindus across the country are also observing ‘Hanuman Janmotsav’ today. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed party workers. His address was screened at 10 lakh places in the country including party offices and other places.

During his address, he commented on the ongoing attacks on the party members. He compared the BJP karyakarta’s with Hanumanji saying,  “Like Hanumanji fought the rakshasas, we will fight corruption and dynasty politics strongly.”

“BJP is such a party which considered nation’s interest as higher than anything,” PM Modi said.

He called the BJP as founders of the new political culture in the country. He added, “What is the culture of the Congress? Only dynasty politics. In contrast, BJP’s political culture is to take everyone along, to dream big and achieve bigger.”

“What happened in 2014 was not a mere change of guard in India. But India heralded a new age coming out of the centuries of slavery. The British left the country in 1947, but left the mentality of slavery in some people. They nurture a badshahi mentality and consider the people of the country as their ‘ghulam’,” PM Modi said.

He targeted the congress for their oppressive rule where they looted the country and treated the citizens and third class people, he said ‘Ghulam’.

He added how the worsened state of Kashmir was normalised under the rule of BJP and how repealing article 370 changed the fate of the valley state.

“When I talked about Swachh Bharat, these badshahi mentality people criticised me. They made fun and questioned my idea of ‘digital India’. They did not even think that Article 370 will be a thing of the past. They could not digest how BJP achieved those things which they could not do for years. And now they are just spreading lies,” said the PM.

Targeting his haters he said, “They are so desperate now that they openly say Modi teri kabar khudegi. But I want to say that these people will keep on conspiring against us but they don’t know that poor, deprived, dalits, tribals are protecting ‘lotus’”.

Talking about the party and their way to working he said, “The leaders of these parties only worked for the family’s good. But for BJP, there is no discrimination”.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the achievements of his government in various sectors, such as health, education, infrastructure, agriculture and defence.

He said that the BJP believes in ‘sabka haath, sabka saath and sabka prayas’.

For the party workers he, emphasised on how social media will change their working pattern and platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are common among the youth.

“BJP should not limit itself in winning elections; we will have to win people’s hearts,” PM Modi said.

PM Modi also urged the party workers to participate actively in the week-long social harmony campaign that the party has planned from April 6 to April 14, the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
