“The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will complete 100 years of its formation in 2025. The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) will chalk out strategies for the RSS’s centenary-year expansion work, and firm up programmes and policies for 2023-24 based on review and experiences of 2022-23,” said Shri Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh on March 10, 2023, before the commencement of ABPS, which is being organised from March 12 to March 14 in Panipat District’s Samalkha-based Seva Sadhna evam Gram Vikas Kendra in Pattikalyana.

Shri Ambekar said, “The ABPS will not only review the Sangh’s activities in 2022-23, but also formulate strategies to add new members to the RSS by 2025 and frame a plan of action for 2023-24. The Shakha is the backbone of the RSS, and a centre for social transformation. Swayamsevaks of Shakhas choose issues based on their study of ground realities and social conditions, and strive for social transformation. The Swayamsevaks, through the Shakhas, work on programmes to make the society self-reliant. They also work to expand service activities and create an environment of social harmony. The Swayamsevaks work for the conservation of the environment, and also determine the activities and programmes that can be executed during the ongoing Amrit Kaal.”

Shri Ambekar informed that the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM) is scheduled to meet on March 11 (today), ahead of the ABPS meeting. The Karyakari Mandal will discuss and deliberate on the resolutions that will likely go to the ABPS. On March 14, the last day of the ABPS meeting, Sarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale Ji will hold a press conference and share the details about the resolutions.

“ABPS meeting would be inaugurated on March 12. RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan ji Bhagwat, Sarkakaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale ji, all Sah-Sarkaryawahs, members of the national executive, representatives of various RSS-affiliated organisations, Sanghchalaks and Karyawahs of all Kshetras and Prants will grace the occasion,” Shri Ambekar informed

Notably, more than 1,400 Pratinidhis from all states across the nation are expected to participate in the ABPS meeting this year. Further, Karyakartas from 34 organisations working in various walks of life are also expected to attend the meeting, Shri Ambekar said in a press conference at Seva Sadhna evam Gram Vikas Kendra.

2024 will mark the completion of 200 years of the birth of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, and 2550th Nirvaan year of Bhagwan Mahavir, and special statements would be issued to mark these occasions, he added.
