A state of shock and panic prevails in the Tin Kothiya colony under Mithanpura police station limits of Muzaffarpur, Bihar after a team of Bihar police recovered three time bombs from the house of Javed Ahmed on February 11, 2023.

As per the reports, the Bihar police have raided the premises on inputs of synthetic drugs being supplied from the house, however in the raids, the team has recovered three time bombs following which the police team have arrested one person and detained three others including the main accused Javed Ahmed aka Sinku.

The others are identified as Mohammad Umar, Mohammad Shami and Mohammad Sibbu both residents of Bulandshahr of Uttar Pradesh, it has been learnt that the main accused Javed has been sent to jail while the other three have been interrogated by the police.

As per the reports the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also interrogated the duo for more than five hours in which the duo asserted that Javed is a ferryman and we have no idea about the time bombs found.

All of the detained persons have been interrogated at new premises of Mithanpura Thana at Bawan Bigha where the team of UP crime branch, IB, CID and Special branch have also interacted with the suspects.

Briefing the media on the development thana incharge Mithanpura Srikant Prasad Sinha said “that the suspects are being interrogated by the NIA and so far no Maoists or terrorists connection of the suspects has come to fore.”

The phone of the accused and the suspects detained have been sent for data recovery, though so far nothing pertaining to the bombs have been found but our investigation is on, added Sinha.

While the time bombs seized have been diffused by the BDS unit the police have also recovered five cartridges, four cell phones and around 400 gm of smack.

As per the initial investigation the police claimed that the ‘ wall clock’ used in the bombs have been bought by the Javed from Muzaffarpur itself while the wires and the batteries have been assembled from West Bengal and Jharkhand.

According to the information received the accused Javed who had visited Kashmir on multiple occasions made the bombs while watching tutorials from Youtube.

As per some reports a photograph of a burnt youth has also been seized from the accused possession, it’s been speculated that the youth in the photograph might have sustained the burn injuries while making the bombs.

Earlier the police also lodged an FIR in connection with the case against Javed and his brother Mohammad Jackie who is reported to be absconding before the raids.

Speaking on the development SSP Muzaffarpur Rakesh Kumar said that we are still in the early phase of investigation so it will be premature to make any assumptions, the enquiry is very much on.”
