BRAHMOS SUPERSONIC CRUISE MISSILE TEST

The Indian Army successfully tested an extended range version of Brahmos supersonic cruise missile from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. (DGP ANI Tweeted). The Brahmos cruise missile can be launched from land, sea and air functions on a “fire and forget” mode of operation.

AGNI-V TEST AND CHINA’S SPY SHIP ‘MOVEMENT’ IN IOR

AS per a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen/Notice to Air Missions) issued by India, it is going to carry out a AGNI-V missile test in the Andaman and Nicobar region on December 15-16, 2022. The NOTAM declares the Bay of Bengal as a no-fly zone on these days. Agni-V is a long-range surface-to-surface ballistic missile, capable of hitting a target 5,000 kilometres away. This NOTAM seems to have made China to reverse course of its spy ship the ‘Yuan Wang 5’ to re-enter the Indian Ocean Region.

JOINT EXERCISE AGNI WARRIOR WITH SINGAPORE ARMED FORCES CONCLUDES

The 12th Edition of Exercise Agni Warrior, a bilateral exercise between the Singapore and Indian Army, which had commenced on November 13, 2022 concluded at Field Firing Ranges, Devlali on November 30, 2022. Exercise Agni Warrior, involved showcasing joint firepower planning, execution, and use of New Generation Equipment by the Artillery arm of both armies.
