Kerala : CPM-led ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) carried out today, November 15, a protest march to Kerala Raj Bhavan at Thiruvananthapuram. CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said that Union Government uses Governor Arif Mohammed Khan as a political tool against Kerala Government. He was inaugurating the public meeting in front of Raj Bhavan. He criticised Union Government and RSS.

CPM supremo and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his ministerial colleagues abstained from the protest march and public meeting. It is to be remembered that Governor had warned strict action would be taken against the CM and the ministers if they participate in the protest programme. Actually this warning prevented them participating in it.

CPI State Secretary Kanam Rajendran said, Governor is  an agent of Union Government and RSS.

CPM State Secretary M.V. Govindan alleged that Governor tries saffronisation  in the state. Because, BJP does not have any political power in the state.

Actually, this protest is an eyewash since CPM, LDF and the CM have been at the receiving end since they declared an open war against the Governor. Set backs they suffer from judiciary and the elite population have pushed them to hot soup hence these sorts of political drama.
