The BJP national president J P Nadda on Wednesday, Aug 17, reconstituted party’s highest policy making body – the Parliamentary Board.
According to a party communique, the members are Nadda himself as president and other members are Narendra Modi (PM), Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, B S Yediyurappa, Sarbananda Sonowal, K Laxman, Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Sudha Yadav, Satyanarayan Jatiya and B L Santhosh.
The decision to keep two former chief ministers Sonowal (Assam) and Yediyurappa (Karnataka) are significant moves.
The statement from general secretary Arun Singh said, Santhosh, who is general secretary organisation will be the Secretary to the 11-member Parliamentary Board.
