Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari held wide-ranging talks with his visiting Egyptian counterpart, Air Marshal Mohamed Abbas Helmy Md Hashem, on ways to enhance cooperation between the two air forces. They also exchanged views on the evolving regional security scenario in the backdrop of the crisis in Ukraine. Air Marshal Hashem also met Army Chief General Manoj Pande and discussed aspects of Defence Cooperation and mutual interest.

INDIA PARTICIPATES IN SEYCHELLES INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

The Indian Navy contingent joined the Seychelles Defence Force for their Independence Day celebrations. INS Kolkata of the Indian Navy, was deployed to Port Victoria, Seychelles to coincide with the Independence Day of Seychelles on June 29, 2022 and was dressed overall to mark the ceremonial occasion. A marching contingent along with Musical Band also joined the Military Parade. The deployment marked sustained participation of Indian Military Contingent in the Seychelles National Day since 1976.

RAKSHA MANTRI DEDICATES TO THE NATION NEW MANUFACTURING FACILITIES AT BHARAT DYNAMICS LIMITED

On July 2, 2022, Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh dedicated to the Nation a number of new manufacturing facilities set up by Bhanur Unit of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) in Telangana. These include a Warhead facility at the Bhanur Unit and a Radio Frequency (RF) Seeker facility at Kanchanbagh Unit.
