Bharatvarsha has been facing tumultuous chaos that originated immediately after Mohammad Zubair tweeted a cropped-up video of a TV debate on May 27 at 11.31 am. The debate anchored by Navika Kumar was live on May 26 evening in the Times Now channel that was participated by Nupur Sharma of BJP, Tasleem Rahmani, President of Muslims’ Political Council of India who belonged to SDPI till November 2021 and other eminent panellists including Shri Ratan Sharda of RSS. Nupur Sharma started receiving unceasing number of death and rape threats for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammad in the said debate though Nupur Sharma’s statement was factually correct as she just had referred to something written in Hadith. Her statement also received subsequent confirmation by several Islamic Scholars across the world as true. However, she was targeted by Islamists after Zubair called in his digital media foot soldiers.
Nupur Sharma referred to Hadith facts neither on her own nor out of context. As the TV debate was on revelations of the court-monitored survey of Kashi Gyanvapi complex, the other panelist Tasleem Rahmani went unabashed in ridiculing Hindu faith regarding Shivling in Gyanvapi. Those who watched the debate felt the heat of Rahmani’s terrible statements that were supposed to shake the souls of Hindus. As Nupur Sharma faced those from the front, it was both her Dharma (not religion but righteousness) to retaliate. Tasleem Rahmani, with his Islamic psyche, appeared to be whipping Hindu faith while he cruelly ridiculed the Shivling that was discovered within Gyanvapi as a fountain. Hindu faith system predominantly rests on spiritualism that tends to look at every aspect of the mortal world from philosophical perspective while Kashi Gyanvapi is absolutely central to such faith. Rahmani’s sarcastic cruelty towards Hindu faith was as if lashing upon the soul of Hindutva.
Tasleem Rahmani, the ex-leader of SDPI, missed no chance to ridicule Gyanvapi Shivling. SDPI, political wing of the notoriously radical Islamic Organisation PFI, made headlines when the party’s cadres chopped off the hands of one Professor Joseph of Kerala for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammad. As Rahmani belonged to a political party with such antecedents, his ridiculing Hindu faith regarding Gyanvapi appeared congruent with textbook Islam. As attacking every other faith & decimating them by hook or by crook is known to be the motto of the Islamic doctrine and as Islamism evolved by forcefully decimating the Pagans of the then Arabia, Tasleem Rahmani’s insults towards Hindu faith appeared as per such doctrine in order to move his own religio-political agenda which is declared to be only Muslims’. He, as an ex-SDPI & as the President of Muslims’ Political Council of India, became ruthless in attacking Hindu faith.
It is required to note that Rahmani’s attack on Kashi Gyanvapi Shivling was a contrived, deliberate, Islamic act by a Muslim politician (the name MCPI suggests so & he is the President) while Nupur Sharma’s expressions were spontaneous repercussions thereof. The weightage of the two can neither be the same nor can the repercussion be magnified out of proportion in order to make it look greater than the original act. It also needs to be noted that in case of PFI these days, individuals seem to be working as the Organization. This is perhaps because it is more convenient for PFI activists to operate unhindered if money from across the whole world pours in through hawala to bank accounts of individual persons instead of the Organization’s as the Organization may be banned any time by the Indian State but persons may still remain operative. Thinking from this angle, Rahmani’s resignation from SDPI last November may also be strategic having preceded by no real rift between Rahmani and SDPI. This angle needs to be investigated about the President of Muslims’ Political Council of India.
Mohammad Zubair, however, took to portray Nupur’s retaliation out of context. He cropped out Tasleem Rahmani’s part of the video and tweeted only Sharma’s part wherein her style of expression was aggressive. However, while Tasleem Rahmani indulged in falsification of facts regarding Kashi Gyanvapi, Nupur Sharma didn’t engage in any falsification but questioned Rahmani how would he feel if she referred to certain facts as written in Hadith. While Nupur Sharma started being hounded for referring to facts as mentioned in Islamists’ holy book, Tasleem Rahmani is living peacefully in spite of falsifying facts on Kashi Gyanvapi. While Nupur Sharma is receiving death threats from all over India, Pakistan and Islamic countries of the Middle East, Rahmani is not even put in house arrest even after being the direct cause of such pandemonium.
Criminal lawyer Dr. Syed Rizwan Ahmed too marked Nupur’s statement factually correct but the style of delivery aggressive. Nupur’s aggression in this case, however, was humane & justified as Tasleem Rahmani’s sneering style of ridiculing was supposed to infuriate a passionate mind. There are people who bitterly criticized Sharma’s provoked state of mind by the incitement provided by Tasleem Rahmani. However, Sharma’s aggression, in this case, appeared more to uphold righteousness than to surrender to provocations. While Tasleem Rahmani forwarded Islamic religious agenda in a media debate, Nupur Sharma spoke aloud for righteousness. Such aggression of Sharma is nothing less than her fundamental right of personal liberty as per Article 21 of the Constitution of India. In spite of that, FIRs have been lodged against Nupur Sharma in several States of India including West Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir. She is being hounded and her life is under threat. Under such circumstances, for the sake of justice, equality and right to life & personal liberty, Rahmani’s deliberate attack upon Hindu faith regarding Kashi Gyanvapi needs to be booked at least under IPC 153A & 295A without any further delay. For the sake of rationality, Tasleem Rahmani needs to be held primarily responsible for all that happened post Mohammad Zubair’s tweet on May 27.
