The escape of Shiv Sena Min Gulabrao Patil from Mumbai to Guwahati is a script from Bollywood. Apparently, Patil went unreachable first, then an entire troop of Shiv Sainiks started looking for him, they went to a hotel where MLAs were staying, only to find him missing from there.

The search party that kept on roaming on the streets of South Mumbai the entire night was under a lot of pressure from senior leaders of the Shiv Sena to get Patil at any cost and make him speak to CM Uddhav Thackeray the search party was now getting restless.

One of the search party’s senior members suggested that they position themselves outside the official bungalow of Patil in South Mumbai, and in the morning they achieved success when they saw Patil.

The search party immediately caught hold of Patil and asked him to speak to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray over the phone. Patil said he has already spoken to Thackeray and the Search Party even believed him.

The search party then asked Patil to accompany them to Varsha, the official CM Bungalow in South Mumbai. Patil agreed and said he be allowed to visit Mantralaya once for an important work assigned to him.

Patil entered the state’s HQ in the official car, now the search party was confident that Patil is coming with them to meet Uddhav Thackeray at Varsha. They were a bit careless, and Patil took benefit of it.

Patil left the mantralaya premises in a private car from another exit, till the time, the ShivSainiks could get a whiff of it, Patil was way ahead. They even chased him, but lost him at Chembur and Patil till then was en route to Guwahati.

Earlier, Three more Shiv Sena MLAs joined the rebel group of MLAs led by Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde in Guwahati on Thursday morning further deepening the political instability in the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra.

They reached the Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati, where other MLAs are campaigning.
