Islamic tirade against Hinduism is continuing non-stop. Their latest target is Shivalinga, highly revered in Hinduism.

Mocking Shivalinga in a TV debate, cleric Ilyas Sharafuddin compared it with male private part and said that country was ruined by worshipping ling and yoni. Mocking Hindus for being idol-worshippers, Sharafuddin said, “Hindus should not worship idol, ling and private parts of a human body.”

The court commissioner’s report in the Gyanvapi case has revealed that the compound has a Shivalinga, and it was partially destroyed by the Muslims to make it look like a fountain. The case is in court.

In a TV debate, Maulana Sarfaraz said that if they had known that it was a Shivalinga, they would have completely destroyed it long back.

Hearing a petition, a court in Varanasi in April had ordered videographic survey of the Gyanvapi structure. Media reports suggested that the findings of the survey have multiple evidence to establish the structure was a temple.
Multiple swastikas, Trishul and idols have been found in the survey. It also found a Shivalinga.

No FIR has been registered by the police anywhere for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus. On the contrary, multiple FIRs have been registered against BJP National Spokesperson Nupur Sharma for quoting Quran and Hadith.

Quoting Hadith, Sharma had said in a TV debate that Prophet Muhammed married Aisha when she was six years old and had consummated the marriage when she turned nine.

Earlier, Islamist Saba Naqvi had mocked Shivalinga, comparing it to a structure at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Later, she deleted the tweet saying it was a WhatsApp forward.

On May 23, Islamist Waqar Bhatti from the Valley, who masquerades as a human rights activist, mocked Shivalinga found at the Gyanvapi complex. Using abusive language for the Shivalinga, he had compared it to a fountain.

In July 2018, Bhatti was booked by the Madhya Pradesh Police for posting videos which could have disturbed communal harmony.

On May 18, Delhi University Associate Professor Ratan Lal was booked by the Delhi Police for passing derogatory comments on Shivalinga. Later he was arrested by the police and granted bail by the court.

TMC Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Moitra had mocked the Shivalinga on May 18, saying, “Hope Bhabha Atomic Research Centre is not next on the digging list.”
