New Delhi: BJP President J P Nadda will interact with a group of heads of Missions to India on Monday (May 16).
The Head of Missions from 14 countries will participate in the interaction with the BJP chief at Party Headquarters in New Delhi at around 1600 hours.
This interaction is a part of the series of programme “Know BJP” initiatives.
On the Foundation Day of BJP on April 6, Mr Nadda launched the new initiative “Know BJP” specifically to address overseas audiences and interacted with the 13 Head of Missions of countries of the world.
The BJP intends to continue such interactions with small groups of foreign diplomats in the future as well.
Exchanges of delegations with political parties from different countries are also being planned in due course of time.
During the May 16 event, Nadda will elaborate on the history, struggles, successes, ideology and contribution of the BJP and its governments in nation-building. He will also address the queries from distinguished guests.
After this, a documentary film depicting the journey of Jan Sangh and the BJP will also be shown during the program.
BJP general secretary Arun Singh, vice president D K Aruna, Party in charge of Foreign Affairs Vijay Chauthaiwale, BJP spokesperson Syed Zafar Islam and a few other party leaders are expected to be present on occasion.
